Brentford host Nottingham Forest at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday evening (17:30) in a huge clash towards the bottom of the table in the Premier League.

Both these sides have had their issues this season and this result could be vital come the end of the season. The Bees will be very pleased to see their star striker Ivan Toney return to the team this weekend after his eight-month suspension came to an end in the week.

We have constructed a 22/1 bet builder for you to consider ahead of this gargantuan clash.

Ivan Toney to score anytime

Brentford have really missed this man, as evidenced by their league position (17th). Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa have been trying their best to deliver the goals needed to help the Bees but it hasn't been enough.

Mbeumo is now sidelined until March and Wissa is on Africa Cup of Nation duty, so Toney's return couldn't have come at a better time. Brentford boss Thomas Frank has confirmed the Englishman will captain the side at the weekend and we fancy him to get on the scoresheet to christen his return to action.

Although he has not played Premier League football in months, Toney has been scoring when he has been involved in friendlies and Under-21s action for the Bees, so he won't be as out-of-sorts as you may think.

His quality in the final third will have an impact for Brentford and it should inspire confidence among his team mates. It definitely feels as though the script is written for him to score here on Saturday.

Draw

However, we do not feel confident in the Bees to pick up a rare three points. They have lost five on the bounce in the top-flight and this season has been a real struggle for them. They are very much involved in this year's relegation scrap and it will take more than just Toney's return to help them get out of trouble.

At this moment in time, they need to end the losing streak and a draw could be a springboard for them here. They cannot afford to lose to a relegation rival in Forest, who have seen an upturn in form under Nuno Espirito Santo.

The two teams have quality in attack with Toney being the main man for the hosts, while the Tricky Trees have Morgan Gibbs-White and a revitalised Chris Wood, who has scored five goals since Santo arrived at the club. Avoiding defeat is crucial for both teams and we expect them to cancel each other out in west London.

Orel Mangala to be carded

No Nottingham Forest player has picked up more yellow cards in the Premier League this campaign than Belgian midfielder Orel Mangala. He plays with such aggression in midfield, winning 24 tackles so far, but not all of them are successful.

Mangala has been penalised 22 times this year and only Ryan Yates (30) has conceded more fouls than him in a Forest shirt. The 25-year-old is currently the subject of interest from clubs abroad but right now he is firmly in the Forest picture and we are expecting him to feature this weekend. And we fancy his chances to pick up his sixth booking of the season because of the stakes in this battle at the bottom of the table.
