Brentford welcome west London neighbours Chelsea to the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon (15:00), looking to respond after their disappointing 4-2 victory at West Ham United on Monday.

Chelsea bounced back from their Carabao Cup final defeat last weekend with an enthralling 3-2 victory over Leeds United on Wednesday to book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Brentford vs Chelsea Betting Tips

  • Over 3.5 goals - 11/8
  • Ivan Toney to score anytime - 6/5

Match Odds

The Bees are 21/10 to get back to winning ways here, and they have been the victors in their last two league meetings with the Blues. Chelsea are valued at 6/5 to come away with the three points, while a draw can be backed at 13/5.

Both teams to score is priced at 4/9 and over 2.5 goals is 8/15.

Team News

After going off injured against West Ham, Brentford defender Ben Mee is a doubt to feature this weekend. Bryan Mbeumo, Josh Dasilva, Kevin Schade, Aaron Hickey and Ethan Pinnock remain in the treatment room.

Thiago Silva is a doubt to return to the Chelsea squad this weekend. Marc Cucurella, Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku, Reece James and Wesley Fofana are just some of the notable players sidelined through injury.

Over 3.5 goals @ 11/8

In both of these two side's last competitive outings, there were plenty of goals. We saw six in total at the London Stadium on Monday involving the hosts and five at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday as Chelsea defeated Leeds.

Both defences look vulnerable right now, which will be of benefit to the attacking players on both teams. Neal Maupay and Ivan Toney have been finding the back of the net in recent weeks for the Bees, while Chelsea have Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher, Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling to call on for goals.

Ivan Toney to score anytime @ 6/5

After going two matches without a goal, Brentford's star striker Ivan Toney will be eager to get back on the scoresheet this weekend, as his goalscoring form could prove vital in the Bees' attempts to avoid relegation.

Before the small drought, he had scored four in five appearances. He had a couple chances late on against West Ham on Monday and was unlucky not to add to his tally. One was blocked by Emerson Palmieri and the other was brilliantly saved by Alphonse Areola.

Against a shaky Chelsea back line on home soil this weekend, Toney will fancy himself to get back to his confident self in front of goal.
