Brentford vs Arsenal Bet Builder Tips: Gunners to fire in 9/2 punt

The Saturday evening TNT Sports game comes from West London, where Brentford host Arsenal in a London derby (17:30). We've previewed the game and given you our best bets.

Arsenal to win

The Gunners have reacted superbly to the controversial loss to Newcastle, beating both Sevilla and Burnley by two goals.

Brentford are a tough nut to crack at home but Arsenal have Gabriel Jesus back, having played 90 minutes for Brazil in midweek and the striker usually makes the North London outfit tick.

Arsenal have won their last two games at the G-Tech by a combined four goals to zero and should have too much for Thomas Frank's side here.

Both Teams To Score

Despite those two wins to nil, I'm going to stray away from the stats and go for both teams to score.

The Bees have been in superb form recently, bar the 3-0 loss to Liverpool last time out and beat Burnley, Chelsea and West Ham with aplomb.

Brentford scored eight goals in those three games and Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa (see below) have stepped up to the mark admirably to help cope with the loss of Ivan Toney.

I like the chances of one of them getting on the scoresheet in front of Brentford's brilliant home support.

Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo to have 2+ shots

Wissa, Maupaya and Mbeumo are a fantastic front three and cause issues for most defences.

Wissa is averaging 2.6 shots per game and Mbeumo is better still at 2.8 spg. This jumps even more for the Cameroon international at the G-Tech with 3.2 shots per game and the Congolese Wissa still manages 2.3 per game in front of his own fans.

The Bees are a cracking counter-attacking unit and given any opportunity, two of those front three will fire at will.
