Team News

The hosts have no fresh injury concerns going into this game at Brann Stadion.

Brann are expected to name a similar starting XI to the first leg, although striker Aune Heggebo will be pushing for a starting role for the Eliteserien side.

As for St Mirren, hero from the first leg Olusanya impressed when he came off the bench and he will be in contention for a starting role on Thursday.

Summer arrival Alex Iacovitti earned a first Saints start at the weekend against Aberdeen and will be hoping to play from the off in Bergen.

Brann are 2/9 to win, while St Mirren are outsiders at 9/1 -  or a 10% chance - to secure a famous win across the North Sea in regulation time.

A draw is available at 9/2, while St Mirren to cause a shock and win the tie is currently 11/2.

Brann to win and both teams to score @ 7/4

Losing just one of their last nine competitive games at home, Brann Stadion is a tough place for opposition sides to play.

Brann should have the quality in the final third with the likes of Bard Finne and Heggebo to cause the visitors enough problems to win the game in 90 minutes.

Both teams to score would have landed in all of Brann’s home games in Conference League qualification so far and it would be little surprise to see that trend continue on Thursday.

Brann and btts at 7-4

Over 3.5 total goals @ 5/4

Judging by recent games at Brann Stadion, this week’s clash with St Mirren should be another end-to-end contest in Bergen.

No less than 13 goals have been scored in the last three Conference League qualifiers at this ground and, with both teams having frailties in defence, there should be plenty of goals in this one.

Saints conceded three goals against the Dons at the weekend at Pittodrie and they face another tough test on the road on Thursday.

Considering the recent scores at Brann Stadion in this competition, over 3.5 total goals is certainly achievable and worth considering at odds of 5/4 here.

Over 3. 5 goals at 5-4
