Bolton vs Northampton Prediction: Collins to make it two in two

Two teams with different targets meet in League One on Tuesday evening, as promotion hopefuls Bolton Wanderers and relegation battlers Northampton Town clash.
There are 14 points separating the two teams going into their meeting at the Toughsheet Community Stadium (19:45, Sky Sports+), after both teams collected good results at the weekend. Read on for my Bolton Wanderers vs Northampton Town predictions, plus the latest odds and team news.
Bolton vs Northampton Betting Tips
Bolton have won just one of their last five games on home soil but, having returned to winning ways on Saturday, are 2/5 to beat Northampton.
The visitors, who are just one place outside the relegation zone, can be backed at 15/2 to claim the three points on Wednesday, with the draw at 18/5.
There have been under 2.5 goals in Northampton's last five League One matches and that is available at 11/10.
Team News
The home team will hand late fitness tests to Ricardo Santos and Eoin Toal ahead of Tuesday's clash after the pair sat out the win at Huddersfield.
Santos has been struggling with a hip injury, while Toal is still trying to fully recover from a hamstring issue.
Bolton will again be without on-loan midfielder Jay Matete, with the Sunderland man serving the second game of a three-match suspension.
Kevin Nolan has hinted at an unchanged team for Northampton's trip to the North West, after praising his side's display at Wycombe.
Nolan described the performance of the back-three, Aaron McGowan, Jordan Willis and Tim Eyoma, as 'excellent'.
Bolton and both teams to score @ 21/10
After parting company with Ian Evatt, Wanderers got the response they were hoping for with a 1-0 away win at Huddersfield on Saturday.
Caretaker boss Julian Darby was full of praise for his team and he will expect a similar display in his first home match in charge.
One win in five on home soil doesn't make great reading, but the performance at the John Smith's Stadium suggests there is better to come.
It's also worth noting though that Bolton have only kept three home league clean sheets this season.
The Cobblers have only won two away league games this term, but the weekend's draw at Wycombe shows they can make life hard for the hosts.
New Northampton boss Kevin Nolan is a Bolton legend from his playing days and although he says this will be a special fixture for him, he insists there can be no room for sentiment.
Bolton have had the edge in recent meetings with Northampton, with the Trotters unbeaten in the last five meetings between the two sides. That includes a Wanderers win at the Sixfields in October, when they ran out 4-2 victors, while Bolton won this fixture 2-1 last season.

Aaron Collins anytime goalscorer @ 23/20
Eyebrows were raised when Bolton decided to sell leading scorer Dion Charles to promotion rivals Huddersfield this month.
That has put more scrutiny on Aaron Collins to deliver the goals and the former Bristol Rovers and Newport man stepped up to the plate on Saturday.
The 27-year-old scored the winner in West Yorkshire to take his season's goal tally to seven, the same number as former team-mate Charles.
Only three of his goals have come at the Toughsheet Community Stadium and he will feel he can add to those against a Northampton team that have conceded 40 goals in 27 league games.
