Chesterfield will be looking to make it seven wins on the bounce in the National League, when they travel to Rochdale on Tuesday night. There is a standout market in this non-league clash, which we have selected as our bet of the day.

Football Bet of the Day – Tuesday

  • Chesterfield and both teams to score (Yes) in Rochdale vs Chesterfield – 13/5

Chesterfield are flying in the National League. The league leaders have won their last six games and Paul Cook’s men are living up to their billing as promotion favourites. They have won nine out of their 11 fixtures thus far and they will look to keep that momentum going when they visit Rochdale.

The Spireites have a strong squad and an excellent coach, which is a welcome cocktail in the race for promotion. Rochdale won’t be an easy task, however. Despite getting relegated from the Football League last term, Rochdale were expected to be one of the strongest sides in the fifth tier, in 2023-24.

So far they are looking good. They sit seventh in the table, with five wins under their belt and at the Crown Oil Arena, they will fancy themselves at being able to disrupt Chesterfield’s title charge.

Their leading marksman, Tyrese Sinclair has seven goals in the league so far, with only two players scoring more than him across the division. He is the biggest threat that Chesterfield will need to be wary of.

However, the Spireites have got a handful of players capable of coming up with the goods. Ryan Colclough (five), Will Grigg (five) and Liam Mandeville (four), have all had really strong starts to the campaign.

With the run that Chesterfield are on right now, it is hard to see them being stopped. But Rochdale can certainly provide them with a contest.

There have only been two games in which they have failed to score this season, and Chesterfield have only been able to keep one clean sheet in their first 11 matches.
