Nottingham Forest have had a mixed start to their second campaign back in the Premier League, winning two and losing two of their opening four fixtures.

The Tricky Trees picked up an outstanding 1-0 win at Chelsea last time out and manager Steve Cooper will hope to build on that, for the visit of Burnley on Monday evening.

The Nigerian will be raring to go against Vincent Kompany’s side on Monday, as they are currently struggling to readjust to the Premier League with their front-foot style of play. On home soil, this fixture gives Forest a huge opportunity to climb the league table and test the waters for what they could actually push for this year.

Awoniyi’s physical presence makes him a tough opponent to play against. Both Arsenal and Manchester United couldn’t shut him out and with Burnley’s defensive record so far (11 goals conceded), he will be fancying his chances to continue his excellent start to the season and collect his fourth league goal.
