Bayer Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich Prediction: Kane to sink Leverkusen hopes

Bayer Leverkusen will have to produce a monumental comeback if they are to advance past Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich in the Uefa Champions League on Tuesday night (20:00, live on TNT Sports 1).

Nordi Mukiele is suspended for the hosts, while Jeanuel Belocian will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL.

Robert Andrich is a doubt as a result of illness, and star forward Florian Wirtz is set to be sidelined until the beginning of April.

As for the visitors, Manuel Neuer will be absent due to a calf problem, so Jonas Urbig is expected to start between the sticks.

The likes of Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise were limited to substitute cameos in the 3-2 defeat to VfL Bochum at the weekend, so all three are expected to return to the starting lineup on Tuesday night.

As expected, the visitors are huge favourites to win the tie at 1/100, and Xabi Alonso's side are 20/1 to advance to the quarter-finals.

Harry Kane to score anytime @ 5/4

Due to his scoring prowess, it's not often that Kane is odds-against to score anytime, so I'll take 5/4 for him to do so here.

Leverkusen will have to go for it being 3-0 down after the first leg, and they'll no doubt leaves gaps at the back that the former Spurs man can exploit.

Kane has scored 31 goals in 35 games this season, which also includes a brace in the first leg.

Granit Xhaka to receive a card @ 12/5

We're all familiar with Granit Xhaka's disciplinary record due to his time with Arsenal, and he's a decent price to be cautioned on Tuesday night.

The Swiss international has proven himself to be a good leader in the engine room, but he tends to go too far, too often. With Leverkusen up against it here, I can see Xhaka losing his cool and finding his way into the referee's notebook as a result.

The former Arsenal man was booked 57 times in 225 appearances for the Gunners and has been cautioned seven times across all competitions this term.
