Having seen their Premier League unbeaten record come to an end at the weekend, Arsenal are back in Champions League action on Tuesday night against Shakhtar Donetsk (20:00, live on Prime Video).

Bukayo Saka missed out on the defeat to Bournemouth at the weekend, after failing to recover in time from a hamstring injury sustained on international duty, and the 23-year-old is a serious doubt for Tuesday.

Jurrien Timber will join Saka on the treatment table due to a muscle issue, while Mikel Arteta will also unable to call upon the services of Martin Odegaard (ankle), Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) and Kieran Tierney (hamstring).

Tymur Puzankov will be absent due to a ligament injury for the visitors, who are also sweating on the fitness of midfielder Taras Stepanenko.

Arsenal are massive favourites for Tuesday's clash at 1/12, giving them an implied win probability of 92.3%, while Shakhtar are 22/1 and the draw can be backed at 9/1.

Saka leads the anytime goalscorer market at 10/11, followed by Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus (both 1/1), while Danylo Sikan is shortest priced for Shakhtar at 5/1.

Arsenal suffered a major setback in the Premier League title race on Saturday, losing 2-0 away to Bournemouth and registering just one shot on target, but Arteta know that his side must quickly fixate their attention on the Champions League.

It's not time to hit the panic button just yet as the Gunners reeled off four-straight victories before the international break, beating Bolton Wanderers, Leicester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Southampton.

With that in mind, Arteta's men should be able to get back to winning ways at the Emirates, especially against a team that are yet to score in this season's Champions League - and Arsenal are yet to concede.

With Arsenal's outright price being so short for this game, I've opted for a correct score pick, as I'm expecting a disciplined performance from the Gunners, in response to Saturday's disappointment.

Kai Havertz to score anytime @ 1/1

As mentioned above, Arsenal should create more opportunities going forward against Shakhtar, and one player who can capitalise on this is Kai Havertz.

The German international was in fine form prior to the international break, scoring in four of the Gunners' last five contests, including in their last Champions League game against PSG.

With Saka expected to be out injured, the goalscoring responsibility for Arteta's side will fall at the feet of Havertz, who has scored in his last five appearances at the Emirates.
