Arsenal welcome Liverpool to the Emirates for a heavyweight FA Cup third-round clash on Sunday afternoon (16:30) live on BBC One.

The Gunners were sat top of the Premier League on Christmas Day, but have since completely capitulated, with just one win in their last six contests.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have been rampant, extending their lead at the top of the table with a 4-2 win over Newcastle last time out.

Arsenal vs Liverpool Prediction

  • Liverpool to win (90 mins) @ 12/5
  • Diogo Jota to score first (90 mins) @ 13/2

Team News

Arsenal will be without Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira and Thomas Partey who are all expected back in late January.

Joel Matip is a long-term absentee for Liverpool. Stefan Bajcetic, Andy Robertson and Thiago Alcantara are also on the sidelines and will miss the clash against the Gunners.

Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah are both away on international duty at AFCON.

Match Odds

Due to this being a cup match, 90-minute betting applies.

Arsenal are EVS to win, while a draw at 11/4 would force a replay at Anfield, and Liverpool are 12/5 to book their place in the next round.

Both teams to score is priced up at 4/7, while over 2.5 goals can be backed at 8/13.

Liverpool to win (90 mins) @ 12/5

The Reds look a sizeable price to win inside 90 minutes this weekend.

Jurgen Klopp's league leaders have won three of their last four, scoring 11 goals in the process. Yes, Mohamed Salah is absent due to his AFCON commitments, but even without the Egypt international, Liverpool have more than enough firepower to win here.

Arsenal aren't exactly firing on all cylinders at the moment, and come into this game having lost their last two, and only tasting victory in one of their last six.
