Arsenal will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon (12:30) when they welcome Crystal Palace to the Emirates Stadium.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will be hoping that the two-week winter break will have come at the right time for his side, so that they can turn their fortunes around and keep themselves in the frame for the title.

We have thrown together a whopping 40/1 bet builder for you to consider ahead of this contest.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Bet Builder Tips

Arsenal to win

There is no denying that Arsenal have been disappointing of late and perhaps the two-week hiatus will serve them well moving forward. The Gunners have not been as exciting to watch as they were last year but they have still been able to grind out victories in games where they were up against it, namely against Luton Town and Brentford.

Arsenal have won just one of their last five in the top-flight, however, and they are fourth in the table, five points behind leaders Liverpool. It is imperative that they correct their form quickly so that they do not get removed from the title race.

Luckily for them, they are facing an inconsistent Crystal Palace side upon their return to action, and on home soil you would back them to get the three points. They are likely to be boosted by the return of Gabriel Jesus in attack, while Palace are without one of their key attacking stars in Michael Olise. The Gunners need to raise their confidence and the Eagles will give them an opportunity to do just that.

Bukayo Saka to score anytime

England international Bukayo Saka has also suffered in his side's poor run of form recently. The winger was unstoppable last season, as were his peers Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli. Collectively, their attacking output is nowhere near as good as it was last year.

Saka has been the best of the bunch this term with six goals and six assists so far, but he will need to find last year's version of himself, and receive aid from his team mates of they are to seriously challenge for the title again.

He has struggled with his attacking flair in recent weeks, looking as though he is second-guessing himself when he is dribbling with the ball. We think the winter break will have done him the world of good and we are backing him to get back on the scoresheet this weekend because if he is on-song, the Eagles will be unable to handle him.

Kai Havertz and Tyrick Mitchell to be carded

Kai Havertz's inconsistency has followed him from Chelsea to Arsenal, and you never know what you are going to get from the German international as each game comes. The midfielder has had a habit of being sloppy out of possession, conceding a lot of fouls (22) which has seen him go into the book on four occasions this term.

He has shown that he can be quite clumsy and with Palace's game plan looking likely to be trying to catch the hosts out on the break, Havertz's lack of defensive experience will be evident once again. We fancy his chances of getting booked again this weekend.

Crystal Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell has only given away 11 fouls this season, but he will have the tough task of trying to keep Saka quiet on Saturday. And with just those 11 fouls, he has been carded four times himself this season, highlighting that he can be quite reckless when he does get penalised.

If the Saka of last season rocks up at the Emirates this weekend then Mitchell will be in for a rough afternoon. And while he is a tricky full-back to break down, Saka has the quality to cause him several problems. That is going to be one of the biggest battles on the pitch and we think the Arsenal star will come out on top, and so we think Mitchell will end the game with his fifth yellow card of the campaign.
