After beating Wolves 4-2 at Molineux on Saturday, AFC Bournemouth will hope to record back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time this season on Thursday (20:15, Amazon Prime Video) when Tottenham Hotspur provide the opposition at Vitality Stadium. The visitors are desperate for all three points themselves after a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Fulham on Sunday, so there's plenty to play for on the South Coast.

AFC Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur Betting Tips

  • Price Boosts - Dominic Solanke (TOT) 1+ Shots on Target, Evanilson (BOU) 1+ Shots on Target & Son Heung-min 1+ Shots on Target @ 2/1 5/2

Team News

Bournemouth trio Alex Scott, Luis Sinisterra and Julian Araujo are all ruled out of Thursday's contest, while Lewis Cook is a major doubt after missing the weekend win over Fulham.

Antoine Semenyo, however, is back available after serving a one-game suspension following an accumulation of yellow cards. The Ghana international could replace David Brooks in the starting XI after the Welsh winger was handed a first start of the season at Molineux.

Football Odds

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou confirmed on Wednesday morning that Micky van de Ven, Wilson Odobert, Richarlison, Mikey Moore and Guglielmo Vicario are all still out injured, while Cristian Romero is seemingly ruled out of a fourth successive game with Friday mooted as a potential return date to training for the Argentine defender.

Rodrigo Bentancur, meanwhile, will serve the third match of a seven-game domestic suspension.

However, Dominic Solanke could be in contention to face his old side on Thursday after improving from the illness that caused him to miss the Sunday stalemate with Fulham.

Bournemouth are 7/4 to beat Tottenham at home for the first time since May 2019 when an injury-time effort from Nathan Ake secured all three points for the Cherries in a 1-0 victory under Eddie Howe. Thursday's odds give Andoni Iraola's side an implied win probability of 36.4%, while Spurs are 7/5, or a 41.7% chance, to claim all three points at Vitality Stadium for the third season running.

The draw is priced at 11/4, both teams to score at 4/11, and over 3.5 total goals at 1/1.

Bournemouth striker Evanlison and former Cherries star Solanke (both 8/5) are joint-favourites in the anytime goalscorer market, followed by Spurs skipper Son Heung-min (7/4) and Semenyo (15/8).

Price Boosts - Dominic Solanke (TOT) 1+ Shots on Target, Evanilson (BOU) 1+ Shots on Target & Son Heung-min 1+ Shots on Target @ 2/1 5/2

The aforementioned trio certainly know where the goal is. Evanilson and Solanke are on four Premier League goals apiece this season, while Son is one strike behind the duo but has hit double figures in the previous eight seasons.

Crucially, Evanilson (1.1), Solanke (1.5) and Son (one) are all averaging at least one shot on target per game in the league.

Evanilson hit the target twice at Wolves on Saturday, seeing both efforts saved, and also had a couple of attempts thwarted by Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen in the game beforehand. The Brazilian has registered at least one shot on target in his past five matches, last failing to at least trouble the goalkeeper in the Cherries' 2-0 victory over Arsenal on October 19.

Solanke, meanwhile, missed the Sunday draw with Fulham but has hit the target six times across his last three appearances - three times v Aston Villa, twice v Ipswich Town, and once v Manchester City, bagging a brace in a 4-1 hammering of the Villans.

Finally, Son has recorded four shots on target in his last three outings - two v Ipswich and one apiece v Man City and Fulham.

Neither Bournemouth nor Spurs are renowned for being watertight at the back and so we should see an entertaining contest between the two teams on Thursday with plenty of shots for both. There were 10 shots on target in Spurs' 3-1 win over the Cherries last December with Son scoring with one of his two shots on target, while there was just one fewer shot on target in the north London club's 2-0 success at the Vitality four months before.

Betfred has boosted the odds of a shot on target for Evanilson, Solanke and Son from 2/1 to 5/2 and I think it's a price well worthy of consideration if all three start on Thursday.

AFC Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur - Price Boosts Solanke 1+ SOT, Evanilson 1+ SOT, Son 1+ SOT

Bet Builder - Both Teams to Score, Pedro Porro (TOT) 2+ Shots, Ryan Christie (BOU) 2+ Fouls @ 4/1

This is a fixture that has produced plenty of goals in recent years with at least four goals scored in four of the last six meetings, with both teams scoring in all four. Three of those contests ended in a 3-2 scoreline, too, two in favour of Spurs and one in favour of Bournemouth, while the north London club also won the most recent head-to-head 3-1 last December.

Both teams to score has also been common for Iraola's and Postecoglou's side this season, with 69 per cent (nine) of the Cherries' 13 Premier League games finishing with at least one goal on either side, while the figure is 62 per cent (eight) for the Lilywhites.

BTTS - Yes has been a winner in Bournemouth's last five Premier League games and five of Tottenham's last seven, so it certainly feels achievable for both sides to score on Thursday.

Next up in this Bet Builder is two shots for Spurs right-back Pedro Porro, who is averaging 1.7 shots per Premier League game this term, up slightly from the 1.5 per game he averaged in 2023/24.

Porro shot twice against Fulham on Sunday and has registered at least two attempts in half (two) of his last four league outings, while he served up a mammoth six attempts in last Thursday's 2-2 draw with AS Roma in the Europa League.

The Spaniard is a rampaging full-back and he will be keen to try his luck again at Vitality Stadium, where he recorded three shots on his last visit in August 2023.

The third and final leg in this 4/1 Bet Builder requires Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Christie to make at least two fouls, something he has done five times in his last eight league appearances.

Christie was in the thick of it in both fixtures against Spurs last season, committing two fouls at the Vitality and three at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and looks like a good bet to make another couple in Thursday's meeting.
