Weekend Football Accumulator Tips: Bets from Serie A, La Liga & Ligue 1

The 3-3-3 column sees our European Weekend Accumulator tipster take a trip through Spain, Italy and France this week as he looks to built on his current Profit/Loss stats for the 25/26 season. Last week was close but no cigar but he's aiming to get back on track this weekend.
Let's see if Jamie can do this thing as we take a look at his Weekend Accumulator Football Tips with the latest instalment of his 3-3-3 column...
Weekend Football Accumulator Tips - Cross European Treble
- Torino v Cremonese - Back Cremonese or Draw @ 5/6
- Celta Vigo v Athletic Bilbao - Back under 2.5 goals @ 8/11
- Strasbourg v Lorient - Back Over 37.5 bookings points @ 4/9
- Treble Odds @ 3.57/1
Last year, the 3-3-3 column returned a profit of 17 points, which means that if you'd backed every treble recommended over the course of the season for level £10 stakes, you'd be up by £170. That's one of the better returns you'll see in the tipping business and speaking of returns, Jamie Pacheco is returning again this year to do try to do it all over again, and maybe even improve on it.
Welcome to the 3-3-3 betting column. Why is it called that? Glad you asked. It's not a formation to play when you've had a man sent off but rather:
3 - The number of different selections making up the acca.
3 - The number of different (non-English) European Leagues the selections are taken from every week.
3 - The minimum odds (3/1) or 4.0 if you prefer, that the acca will come to it every week.
And it really is as simple as that. The selections can be from any betting markets, as long as they meet the criteria set out above. And to round things off, every week I'll leave you with a cool (or at least I think so) bit of trivia involving one of the teams featured in the acca. Simples...
2025-26 season Current P and L: +4.97 pts
2024-25 season's P and L: + 16.9
2/3 last week but the truth is we were out after the first match with Alaves getting a goal, but not Sociedad, when we needed both teams to score. Cagliari v Roma was low-scoring like we expected it to be (another tick for Roma as the Kings of the Unders or 'No' on both teams to score game) and Porto won quite comfortably in the end. So a bit of a shame but then again, it was the biggest priced of the three selections that let us down.
But we're still in profit, so let's look to build on that.
- Torino v Cremonese
- Saturday, December 13, 14:00
- Back Draw/Cremonese on the Double Chance market @ 5/6
Torino are in pretty rotten form at the moment. They haven't won any of their last five Serie A games, losing the last three and drawing the two before that.
Given they're the ones in 16th and that Cremonese are seven places and six points better off than them, you might wonder why Torino are favourites at all.
The last two times Cremonese came to Torino, they drew both of them - 2-2 and 0-0 - so siding with the visitors or the draw, looks the way to go.
- Celta Vigo v Athletic Bilbao
- Sunday, December 14, 15:15
- Back Under 2.5 Goals @ 8/11
Roma (who play on Monday so aren't included in this weekend's selections as it's a weekend column) aren't the only team in Europe who love dull, low-scoring matches, far from it.
I think if Roma played Celta Vigo, the game could go on for hours without so much as a chance, let alone a goal.
That, of course, is a joke, but what's certainly no laughing matter is Celta's home record of 87.5% of their matches this season staying under 2.5 goals.
Only one of their eight games at home saw more than 2.5 goals (curiously it ended 2-4) and their opponents this week, Athletic Bilbao, aren't ones for high-scoring games, either: they have a 66% strike rate at home and 75% away for 'unders'. Four of the last six between these two in Vigo ended unders, so that's a good omen, too.
- Strasbourg v Lorient
- Sunday, December 14, 16:15
- Back Over 37.5 bookings points @ 4/9
I wouldn't go as far as calling Strasbourg a 'dirty' team but then again, they're not a clean one, either.
They've had three players sent off away and one at home, so that's the first piece of evidence right there that they like a bit of a scrap.
In their first five home games of the season, all of them went over 35 (bookings) points, helped by the fact that they had 2, 4.5, 2, and 2 cards shown to their players across those five games, which is half the battle; literally.
They're 71.4% at home and 75% away for matches with over 37.5 booking points in them and are up against a side in Lorient, who are no angels, either: they're 57% away and 75% at home for games with at least four yellows in them.
Ref Gael Angoula has shown five, four, and four cards in his last three matches. A repeat of that would do us just fine.
Jamie's Fun Fact
There is no shortage of different nationalities when it comes to Torino's squad, and one of those is Scottish. For the last two years they've been able to count on the services of former Southampton and Birmingham striker Che Adams; he scored 10 last season and has 3 in 15 this campaign.
