Newcastle United (H) to beat Fulham @ 8/13
Newcastle United look to have found their groove in Europe with 3-0 and 4-0 wins in their last two Champions League outings. Nick Woltemade is a man on fire and has filled the boots of Alexander Isak perfectly, scoring six in 12 and four in five Premier League matches.
The Toon lost to Brighton in their last league outing but their home form is decent, while Fulham are struggling, having lost their last three league games - and they now sit 15th in the league. I can’t see them getting anything against this Newcastle outfit at St James’ Park.
Oxford United (A) to beat Sheffield Wednesday @ 13/8
Sheffield Wednesday have just been placed into administration as their nightmare season continues. Dejphon Chansiri seems set on taking this club to the brink of existence, and relegation is now simply a formality, just 11 games into the season.
The home team are now set to be deducted 12 points taking them down to -6 for the season, and their form at Hillsborough is miserable. They’ve picked up just one point from six, scored one goal and conceded 16 in the process. This is a massive chance for Oxford to get a vital three points on the board.

Swansea City (H) to beat Norwich City @ 5/4
The bells are surely tolling for Liam Manning at Norwich City. Another defeat in midweek, this time away at Derby County made it four in a row and they are yet to win at Carrow Road this term. I don’t think Swansea are the best team in the league or anywhere close to that having failed to win their last three, but they should be able to get past this woeful Canaries outfit.
Southampton (A) to beat Blackburn Rovers @ 7/5
Blackburn Rovers are dreadful right now. Valerien Ismael has overseen four defeats and one draw in their last five and Rovers have now slipped into the bottom three. The squad doesn’t look to be strong enough to compete higher in the table and it could therefore be a long season for the Ewood Park faithful.
They host a struggling Southampton outfit on Saturday, with Will Still finding life in the Championship quite tough. However, the Saints do boast decent underlying numbers and their squad is one of the best in the league, so I think there is good value in backing them to get the three points.
MK Dons (A) to beat Bromley @ 7/4
MK Dons were the favourites to win League 2 at the start of the season given the star names they brought in, and after a slow(ish) start, they are now in fine form. They’ve won their last four games in a row, they have now scored a league-high 26 goals in the league (two per game) and Paul Warne has got them attacking with verve and dynamism.
Bromley have only won one of their last seven and sit in mid-table, so MK Dons are a great price to make it five in a row.
