Latvia (H) to Win to Nil vs Andorra (14:00) @ 19/20
Andorra have lost all five Group K qualifiers without scoring, and haven’t won or found the net in eight games (D2, L6) since beating San Marino 2-0 in a friendly last October.
Latvia certainly aren’t prolific themselves, only scoring once in their last five matches (D2, L3). Still, they were 1-0 winners in March’s reverse fixture at the Estadi Nacional, where they restricted the hosts to just seven shots on home soil.
Paolo Nicolato’s side have also proven to be a tough nut to crack for some of the bigger nations in Group K, drawing 1-1 with Albania in Riga, where they were edged out 1-0 by Serbia. Albania also recorded a 1-0 win against Latvia in Tirana, where a Kristjan Asllani spot-kick settled matters.
Andorra haven’t scored away from home since March 2024, when they drew 1-1 with South Africa, and that friendly was played at a neutral venue in Annaba, Algeria. Their last ‘proper’ away goal came in June 2023, in a 2-1 defeat to Israel in Jerusalem.
It’s difficult to see Andorra finding a way past a Latvian defence that has only conceded three goals across their last four games, while Saturday’s hosts will expect to do the double over the international minnows at Daugavas stadions.
Both Teams to Score in Norway vs Israel (17:00) @ 10/11
I’m not anticipating many goals between Latvia and Andorra on Saturday, but I can’t say the same for the Oslo meeting between Norway and Israel, with March’s reverse fixture in Debrecen, Hungary, ending with six strikes as the Scandinavian side ran out 4-2 winners.
Norway have won all six of their matches this calendar year, and while a couple of them have finished 1-0, against Finland and Estonia, the other four have all seen them score at least three goals.
Stale Solbakken’s charges have beaten Moldova 5-0 and 11-1, away and home, respectively, and outclassed Italy 3-0 in Oslo.
Four clean sheets is an impressive return, particularly as one was achieved against the Italians, but keeping a fifth might be difficult against Israel, who have scored in their last seven games, including all six in 2025.
The Skyblue and Whites have seen both teams find the net in four of their five qualifiers, including last month’s 5-4 loss to Italy in Debrecen, and a fifth in six looks likely on Saturday at Ullevaal Stadion.
Bulgaria (H) +2 Handicap vs Turkey (19:45) @ 1/1
Turkey are big favourites to come away from Sofia with all three points on Saturday, and while I do think they are likely to beat Bulgaria, I think the hosts could keep the score down - with a +2 handicap on the Lions looking like value at 1/1.
Bulgaria lost their last home game 3-0 to Spain, but that was no disgrace as they were playing the reigning European champions, and that was the first time since October 2023, when they lost 2-0 to Lithuania after going down to 10 men in the 42nd minute with the score at 0-0, that they had lost on home soil by more than one goal.
Turkey, meanwhile, have only won two away games by more than a single-goal margin since June 2022.
After starting their qualification campaign with back-to-back 3-0 defeats to Spain and Georgia, don’t be surprised to see Bulgaria adopt an even more defensive approach to Friday’s fixture to avoid a hat-trick of heavy losses.

Under 2.5 Total Goals in Serbia vs Albania (19:45) @ 8/13
It’s fair to say there’s no love lost between Serbia and Albania, so we could see tempers flare in this World Cup qualifier.
The two previous completed games - the first was abandoned with the score at 0-0, and a 3-0 win awarded to Albania - have finished with two or fewer goals. Serbia won 2-0 in Elbasani in October 2015, and nearly 10 years later, in June this year, the two countries ground out a goalless draw in Tirana.
Saturday’s reverse fixture at Stadion Dubocica in Leskovac might not see many, if any, goals, either.
Nine of Albania’s last 11 matches, including three of their last four, have gone under 2.5 goals, while 12 of Serbia’s last 15 have produced two or fewer strikes, so prepare for another cagey contest in Serbia on Saturday.
Palmeiras (H) to Win to Nil vs EC Juventude (23:00) @ 8/13
Palmeiras, who won back-to-back Serie A titles in 2022 and 2023 before finishing as runners-up to champions Botafogo last year, are firmly in the hunt to lift the trophy for a third time in four seasons.
Verdao are currently top of the table, above second-place Flamengo, who have played a game more, on goal difference, while Cruzeiro, in third, are three points behind, having played two more times.
Palmeiras have won their last two games, beating Vasco da Gama 3-0 at home on October 2 before edging out Sao Paulo 3-2 away three days later.
On Saturday, Abel Ferreira’s side host Juventude, who are 19th in the 20-team league and five points off Santos, who occupy the final survival slot.
Juve are winless in their last five games (D2, L3) and have scored just twice since the start of September, blanking in three separate matches in their winless run.
Palmeiras are unbeaten at Allianz Parque since suffering a 2-0 Copa do Brasil defeat there to Corinthians on August 7, and they haven’t lost a league game at home since going down 2-0 to Flamengo on May 25. They’ve won their last five home matches across all competitions, and on Saturday, should make light work of Juve, who have collected a joint-league-low five points on their travels.
Juve have scored just five times in 12 away games - no other side has struck fewer than nine times on the road - while only Flamengo (four) have conceded fewer goals at home than Palmeiras (nine), so backing a home win to nil looks like the best bet here.
