FK Teplice vs Slavia Prague (17:00) - FK Teplice or Draw @ 7/4

Reigning Czech First League champions Slavia Prague are five points clear of nearest challengers Sparta Prague after 17 rounds of fixtures this season.

Jindrich Trpisovsky's side are targeting a fifth straight league win on Friday at AGC Arena Na Stinadlech, where they take on hosts FK Teplice.

Naturally, the visitors are big favourites to win against a side who are 11th in the 16-team table, 21 points below them, but I believe there is value in backing the hosts in the Double Chance market.

While unbeaten Slavia top the home table, picking up 23 points from 27 available, they are second when only counting away games, collecting 16 points from eight matches. They've drawn as many games as they have won (four apiece), suffering three consecutive stalemates before winning away for the first time in over two months at Viktoria Plzen (3-5) on November 9.

Teplice, meanwhile, have lost just one of their last six contests (W2, D3, L1), and are unbeaten in their last three (W2, D1), winning 1-0 in back-to-back games after the November international break.

Slavia haven't won at Teplice since July 2021, drawing there twice in 2023 and losing 1-0 in December 2024, and I'm backing Teplice to avoid defeat in this home fixture for the fifth time in six on Friday.

Fortuna Dusseldorf vs FC Schalke 04 (17:30, YouTube) - Fortuna Dusseldorf or Draw @ 4/6

Another team I'm backing in the Double Chance market is Fortuna Dusseldorf, who, sat 14th in the 18-team 2. Bundesliga, are 17 points behind their next opponents, leaders Schalke, who have won 10 of their opening 14 games (W10, D1, L3).

Schalke have been almost faultless at home, winning six of their seven matches in Gelsenkirchen, but they've collected five fewer points on their travels (W4, D1, L2), and failed to win either of their away games in November, losing 2-1 to Karlsruhe and drawing 0-0 at Munster, despite the latter going down to 10 men in the 55th minute.

Admittedly, no club has picked up fewer points at home than Fortuna (five) this season, with Friday's hosts at the Merkur Spiel-Arena losing four times there, winning one and drawing two of the other three.

However, they went unbeaten at home in November, drawing 1-1 with Kaiserslautern, who beat Schalke 1-0 at home in August, and beating Magdeburg 2-1.

Schalke lost 2-0 at this ground in May, while they also drew 1-1 with the same side in Gelsenkirchen last December. They've failed to beat Fortuna in the last five meetings (D2, L3), last tasting success against them in August 2021, and I'm backing the hosts to extend their unbeaten run in this fixture to six games on Friday.

Real Oviedo vs Real Mallorca (20:00, La Liga TV) - Draw or Real Mallorca @ 1/2

The third and final club I'm plumping for in the Double Chance market is Real Mallorca, who travel to the Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere on Friday to take on hosts Real Oviedo.

Mallorca are 16th are only taking 13 points from 14 games, but that still puts them four points above Oviedo, who are bottom of La Liga, without a win since September 30.

Only Levante (one), who have played a game fewer, have picked up fewer points at home this season than Oviedo (five).

Mallorca haven't impressed on the road, winning just one of their seven away games and losing the other six, but they've had to travel to four of last season's top six, as well as Real Sociedad and Sevilla, two sides who have appeared in European competitions in recent campaigns.

Friday presents a terrific opportunity for Mallorca to add to their away points total against a confidence-stricken Oviedo side that has blanked in the last four, as well as their last four at home.

Certainly, I believe the visitors can avoid defeat.

Lille OSC vs Olympique Marseille (20:00, Ligue 1 Pass) - Both Teams To Score - Yes @ 8/15

Both teams have scored in seven of the last eight meetings, including the last three, between Lille OSC and Olympique Marseille, who face off at the former's Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Villeneuve d'Ascq on Friday.

Lille have scored in 10 of their 14 Ligue 1 games this season, while it's 12 in 14 for Marseille, who have struck in 11 consecutive league matches since being denied in a 1-0 defeat at Olympique Lyonnais on August 31.

Lille have notched in their last four Ligue 1 home contests, while Marseille have been on target in their last five away games in the competition, so backing both teams to score looks like a sensible bet on Friday.

Benfica vs Sporting CP (20:15) - Both Teams To Score - Yes @ 8/11

This acca ends at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal, where city rivals Benfica and Sporting CP clash for the second time this season, following July's Super Cup success at the Estadio Algarve for the former.

That was the first head-to-head this year where both sides had failed to score, with 1-1 draws in the Taca da Liga (7-6 Benfica on penalties) and Liga Portugal, followed by a 3-1 Taca de Portugal victory for Sporting.
