Football Accumulator Tips: Lens to lift trophy in 9/1 Friday five-fold

The fixtures are thinning as the 2026 FIFA World Cup draws ever closer, but I've still managed to pick out five games for Friday's Football Acca.

CFR Cluj (H) to beat FC Arges Pitesti (18:30) @ 1/2

CFR Cluj and FC Arges face off at the former’s Stadionul Dr. Constantin Radulescu on Friday in the final round of Romanian Superliga fixtures.

Cluj are currently third after the end-of-season split and can still catch Universitatea Cluj, who occupy the UEFA Europa League qualification spot, in second, but they will need to win on Friday and hope their city rivals lose at home to Dinamo Bucuresti the following day.

Sixth-placed FC Arges, meanwhile, are out of European contention, and can only finish as high as fifth.

Cluj are unbeaten in their last six games (W3, D3), while Arges have failed to win any of their last nine across all competitions (D4, L5), losing both of their away matches this month.

Friday’s hosts won 1-0 in the last head-to-head at Stadionul Orasenesc in April, and they’re backed to come through with a victory again.

Football Odds

Red Star Belgrade, who have won nine consecutive Serbian Super Liga titles, finish their 2025/26 campaign this Friday against sixth-placed OFK Beograd.

Red Star have been dominant at Stadio Rajko Mitic this season, claiming 46 points from a possible 54 on home soil, and they’re highly fancied to secure another Belgrade win here, with odds of 33/1.

I think there’s value in backing Both Teams to Score - Yes, though, as Red Star have only kept two clean sheets in their last 10 games across all competitions.

OFK Beograd, meanwhile, have scored in three of their last four, including the last couple, and they’ve found the back of the net in all six head-to-heads since the start of 2025.

Back in Belgrade last July, they were hammed 7-1, while events were closer in Stara Pezova in November as they were edged out 4-3.

Both Teams to Score - Yes in Fiorentina vs Atalanta (19:45) @ 4/7

Another game where there is little to play for, Fiorentina host Atalanta at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence, Italy.

Atalanta are guaranteed to finish seventh, while 15th-placed Fiorentina can rise as high as 12th, or fall back slightly to 16th.

Either way, there’s not much jeopardy for either side here, so I’m hopeful both teams can get on the scoresheet.

RC Lens (N) to beat OGC Nice (20:00) @ 1/2

RC Lens enjoyed a terrific 2025/26 Ligue 1 campaign, finishing second, just six points behind winners Paris Saint-Germain, and they can make it a season to remember for years by beating OGC Nice in the Coupe de France final this Friday.

As for Nice, it’s been a horror season, as they ended up 16th and must contest a relegation play-off tie with Ligue 2 side St. Etienne next week.

Their main focus will be on securing their Ligue 1 status, with Friday’s cup final a mere bonus.

Nice arrive at the Stade de France in poor form, having failed to win any of their four matches (D3, L1) since beating RC Strasbourg in the Coupe de France semi-finals on 22 April, and they didn’t get a win on board against Lens in Ligue 1 this season, losing 2-0 at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in December before drawing 1-1 at the Stade Riviera earlier this month.

Under 2.5 Goals in Nautico vs Cuiaba (23:00) @ 8/15

If you want to see goals, don’t tune into a Cuiaba game.

Across nine Serie B matches this season, Cuiaba have been involved in a total of eight goals, scoring and conceding an equal amount; that averages out at 0.88 goals per game.

Unsurprisingly, all nine of their contests have gone under 2.5 goals, with five finishing goalless.

Nautico, on the other hand, have scored 15 and conceded nine, with their games averaging 2.66 goals.

Their last two have been full of goals, with a 4-0 home victory over America MG followed by a 6-2 thrashing of Operario last time out.

However, two of their four league home matches this season have gone under 1.5 goals.

These two teams have met each other four times before, and the last three have gone under 2.5 goals.
