Football Accumulator Tips: 50/1 shot for Friday madness

Friday’s football action brings us a key game in the Premier League and action from across Scotland and Europe, and below you can find my Football Accumulator Tips for Friday, May 1.

Andorra FC (H) to beat Albacete @ (15:15) @ 7/10

My first two picks come from the Spanish Segunda Dision and I think there’s value to be had in backing two home wins. Andorra are on a fine run of form, having won their last four games on the bounce as they climb towards the play-offs. 

They are up to ninth, as they host 13th-placed Albacete, who have lost three of their last four and look to be ending the season with a whimper. More than happy to back the form side in this one.

Deportivo La Caruna (H) to beat Leganes (17:30) @ 4/6

Deportivo La Caruna currently sit third in the second tier in Spain, just two points behind those all-important automatic promotion positions. They’ve got the best away record in the league, so if they can sort themselves out at home, they should be able to get back to the top flight this term. 

Unbeaten in eight, too many draws have slowed their progress and they will be desperate to win this one against a Leganes outfit that have lost three of their last four and slipped down to 16th in the process.

Aberdeen (A) to beat Livingston (19:45) @ 6/4

Livingston won their second game of the season last time out with an away win at St Mirren, but they remain the worst team in Scotland’s top-tier, with relegation on staved off for another week with that victory.

Aberdeen won their first game since the split, beating Kilmarnock 1-0, and should be able to deliver the final and decisive blow for Livingston’s top-flight status. Away win.

Lecce (A) to beat Pisa (19:45) @ 6/4

Over in Italy, I’m also backing the worst team in the league to lose at home. Pisa are 11 points from safety with four games to play, so it doesn’t take a mathematician to work out that they will be relegated should they fail to beat Lecce.

They’ve lost their last five games in a row and are heading down with a whimper, and while Lecce aren’t good either - sitting just above the drop and winless in six, you have to expect their quality to tell. They need the three points so should be able to secure a rare win.

Leeds (H) to beat Burnley with -1 handicap (20:00) @ 23/20

Burnley are down, and Leeds must beat them to keep the gap between them and the chasing pack at a comfortable distance. Tottenham, West Ham and Nottingham Forest all won last time out, while Leeds lost their FA Cup semi-final to Chelsea. 

They should be able to bounce back here, with victory taking them to 43 points and above Newcastle. That should secure their safety, while Burnley have lost four in a row and look out of their depth. I’ll add the minus one handicap to increase our odds.
