Barcelona to beat Newcastle @ 8/15
Despite needing a late penalty from Lamine Yamal to rescue a draw away at Newcastle , Barcelona will be confident heading into the return leg one their own patch.
They’re on an incredible run, having won their last 17 home matches, with their only defeat in all competitions there this season coming against Paris Saint-Germain in October.
Better sides than Newcastle have turned up to Camp Nou and lost, and it’ll be a very tough night for the Magpies.
Barcelona should prove too strong on home soil, where their class is expected to show and ultimately see them through in 90 minutes, Newcastle will make it tough but at 8/15 Barcelona look a fair price to get this done in 90 minutes.
Over 2.5 goals in Liverpool vs Galatasaray @ 4/11
Liverpool host Galatasaray in the second leg of their Champions League tie, and they will be looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit. Despite there only being one goal in the first leg, over 2.5 looks to be the bet here for what should be an end-to-end tie.
Both teams ended with an xG of over 1 and generated 15 shots each; on top of that, Liverpool did have the ball in the net, but it was ruled out. Both teams boast plenty of attacking prowess, and this is bound to be another lively match.
Bayern Munich over 2.5 goals vs Atalanta @ 5/6
Unless we are in for one of the biggest comebacks of all time, Bayern Munich will be through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, having outclassed Atalanta 6-1 in the first leg.
They’re in a position where they can afford to rotate, and given the depth of their squad, they won’t be sitting back to quietly see this one out. Expect them to come out with something to prove in front of a home crowd and score at least three goals.
BTTS in Tottenham vs Atletico Madrid @ 4/7
Tottenham Hotspur very much have a mountain to climb if they are to find themselves in the quarter-finals, having lost 5-2 to Atletico Madrid in the first leg.
Going 3-0 down in the first 20 minutes due to mistakes from their goalkeeper did not help, but they did show attempts at a revival, scoring twice.
They are likely heading out of the tournament but will want to put in an encouraging performance at the very least as they head into a very important game against Nottingham Forest on the weekend.
They look very poor at the back but have not been short of goals; their last six games have ended with both teams scoring, and that is the bet here.
BTTS in Southampton vs Norwich @ 4/6
Both teams enter this game in good form, with Southampton winning four of their last five and being unbeaten in their last 12, while Norwich City have won four of their last five, with their only defeat coming to Premier League side Leeds United in the FA Cup.
Both teams rarely fail to score, and this should prove to be an entertaining match with both teams scoring.
