Aston Villa (H) to beat Brighton @ 19/20
Brighton are winless in five in the Premier League and although Villa haven’t been able to continue their title charge, they should be able to find success on home soil again. They have won three of their last five in all competitions and having enjoyed success in the Europa League and FA Cup, should be able to beat a Brighton team that sit 14th and are sliding down the table.
Crystal Palace (H) to beat Burnley @ 8/15
Burnley are Burnley. Scott Parker’s side are now seemingly destined to go straight back down to the Championship as they sit 11 points from safety and have only been kept off the bottom of the table by a miserable Wolves outfit.
Three wins all season is poor and I can’t see it changing here against a Crystal Palace outfit who ended a barren spell with an important away win at rivals Brighton. That should give them the confidence boost they need to follow it up with another three points at Selhurst Park.
Nottingham Forest (H) to beat Wolves @ 7/10
The only team worse than Burnley? Wolves. It’ll come as no surprise that I’m backing them to lose their 20th league game of the season. The arrival of Adam Armstrong in January hasn’t improved them, and Rob Edwards has now overseen three defeats on the bounce.
Nottingham Forest lost a key game at Leeds last time out but should be able to edge past this dreadful Wolves team on home soil.

Double Chance - Sunderland or Draw vs Liverpool @ 21/20
I’m rather surprised to see Liverpool listed as the odds-on favourites for this trip to Sunderland, with the hosts at 4/1 to take the three points. Sunderland have the fourth-best home record in the league in terms of points, but are the only unbeaten team in the Premier League on home soil with seven wins and five draws.
Given Liverpool have only won one of their last seven league games, I will back Sunderland to get at least a point against Arne Slot’s men.
Rochdale (H) to beat Forest Green Rovers @ 11/10
National League leaders Rochdale are flying right now, and six wins in a row has taken them two points clear at the top of the table. They now lead the division ahead of York City, while Forest Green Rovers are down in fifth and have dropped points lately, having won just one of their last six in all competitions.
Rochdale are flying right now, and I’m happy to side with them at a decent price on Wednesday night.
