Man City (H) to beat Newcastle
Kicking off in the Carabao Cup, Manchester City host Newcastle United at the Etihad for the second leg of their semi-final tie. The visitors have their work cut out on Wednesday as they are two goals down after a disappointing home leg on Tyneside last month.
City have been largely strong at home this season, losing just two games in all competitions here. They also boast an excellent record when playing the Magpies on home turf, having won each of their previous 11 meetings at this stadium in all competitions.
Newcastle looked fragile in their 4-1 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday, and I think the reigning champions will suffer a defeat here.
Tawanda Maswanhise to score (Dundee vs Motherwell)
Tawanda Maswanhise is having an exceptional season in the Scottish Premiership. The Motherwell winger is the top scorer in the division with 13 goals after bagging a brace on Saturday in the 2-0 victory at Livingston.
Motherwell head to Dundee on Wednesday, looking to make it three wins on the spin and to extend their unbeaten run in the top flight to five. Maswanhise has struck in each of the past four league games, and he has already profited against the hosts this season.
I believe he will continue his hot streak in this contest at Dens Park.
Rangers (H) to beat Kilmarnock
Rangers suffered a minor blip in their quest to make up ground on league leaders Hearts as they were held to a goalless draw at Hibernian on Sunday. Danny Rohl's side had won six league games on the spin before that, though, and they will fancy themselves to get back on track at Ibrox against Kilmarnock on Wednesday.
The Gers have won each of their last five home fixtures in the top flight, and Killie have managed just eight points from 12 games on the road this season.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Celtic (A) to beat Aberdeen
Celtic are level on 48 points with Rangers, and they too are hoping to close the gap on Hearts. The Bhoys travel to Aberdeen on Wednesday, hoping to continue their strong form since Martin O'Neill returned to the club.
The Hoops are unbeaten in four outings in the top flight, winning three of them. They have also beaten Aberdeen in both league meetings this season, and the hosts have lost four of their last five league fixtures coming into this clash. Celtic for the win.
Inter Milan (H) to beat Torino
In the Coppa Italia, Inter Milan host Torino at San Siro in the quarter-finals. The hosts have a nice cushion at the summit of Serie A, so they may be sensing an opportunity for a domestic double this season.
The Nerazzurri come into this clash on a three-game winning streak, while Torino have lost four of their past six fixtures in all competitions. The visitors were also hit for six in their latest away trip in a humiliating defeat at Como.
Inter won this contest 5-0 in the league back in August, so I think they will prevail again.
