My Anytime Goalscorer tips last week came close to landing, with three of the five players getting on the scoresheet. It was a huge improvement on the effort two weeks ago, which was a complete bust.

I'm back with another boosted five-fold, having picked out players from across the Premier League and EFL. Check them out below.

Anytime Goalscorer Tips - Saturday, January 31

  • Thierno Barry (Everton vs Brighton)
  • Marvin Ducksch - (Oxford vs Birmingham)
  • Oli McBurnie - (Blackburn vs Hull)
  • Kyle Wootton - (Stockport vs Plymouth)
  • Dom Ballard - (Leyton Orient vs Port Vale)

Thierno Barry (Everton vs Brighton)

It's taken a few months, but Thierno Barry looks to have found his feet at Everton. The summer arrival from Villarreal had to wait until December for his first Premier League goal, and the striker has not looked back since.

The Frenchman has four goals in his last five league appearances for the Toffees, having struck in the last two games ahead of their home clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

He is playing with confidence and coming up against a side who have managed just two clean sheets in 12 away matches in the top flight.

Marvin Ducksch - (Oxford vs Birmingham)

Birmingham City have been busy in the January transfer window, and their latest addition, Carlos Vicente, could mean good news for attacker Marvin Ducksch.

The Blues have often lacked pinpoint delivery in the box, and Vicente, who likes to cross the ball early, is someone who can help address this. Birmingham head to Oxford United on Saturday in the Championship, looking to extend their unbeaten run to four matches.

German forward Ducksch has six league goals to his name, and three of them have come across his previous four outings. Given the right service, he could hurt the U's here.

Oli McBurnie - (Blackburn vs Hull)

For a free transfer, Hull City have been getting excellent value from frontman Oli McBurnie this season. The Scotsman has bagged 11 goals in the Championship so far, including two in as many appearances, as the Tigers travel to Blackburn Rovers.

The hosts have the second-worst home record in the division, and they are winless in their previous seven outings in the second tier. McBurnie will look to profit from this as his side continue their promotion push and seal a fourth consecutive victory.

Kyle Wootton - (Stockport vs Plymouth)

Stockport County forward Kyle Wootton is the second-top scorer in League 1 this season with 13 goals, two shy of Leyton Orient's Dom Ballard - but more on him later.

Wootton has been in good form in recent weeks, having netted three goals in his last four outings in the third tier. The striker has struck in the last two games, which have come in the past week against Cardiff City and Blackpool, so he should be brimming with confidence ahead of a home clash with Plymouth Argyle.

The Stockport attacker was on the scoresheet when the two teams met earlier in the season at Home Park back in September, and I see him hurting the Pilgrims again.

Dom Ballard - (Leyton Orient vs Port Vale)

Orient's Dom Ballard is the leading marksman in League 1 with 15 goals, and after going two matches without a goal in the third tier, I sense he will be fired up for Saturday's home clash with bottom-of-the-table Port Vale.

The Valiants have the joint-second worst away record in the division, while 10 of Ballard's league goals have come on home turf. The forward has found the net in each of the O's previous four home fixtures in League 1, scoring seven goals in the process.

His form is too good to ignore here.
