Friday 23rd January 2026, 12:30pm

Last week's goalscorer boost was a complete bust as not one of the five players were on the scoresheet - and I think that is my worst effort to date. This has spurred me on to deliver some success this weekend, simply because it can't get any worse.

I've gone for a right mixture this time around with players picked from the Premier League, Championship, La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A. Check out my Anytime Goalscorer Tips for Saturday below.

Anytime Goalscorer Tips - Saturday, January 24

  • Zan Vipotnik (Hull vs Swansea)
  • Harry Wilson (Fulham vs Brighton)
  • Kylian Mbappe (Villarreal vs Real Madrid)
  • Michael Olise (Bayern vs Augsburg)
  • Nico Paz (Como vs Torino)

Zan Vipotnik (Hull vs Swansea)

Hull City host Swansea City at the MKM Stadium in the Championship and one player who can have a starring role in this contest is Zan Vipotnik. The Slovenian striker is enjoying himself at the Swans this term, with 13 goals in the second tier, the most of any player in the division.

This was thanks to a brace in the 3-1 home win over Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday, adding to his goal in the stalemate with Birmingham City on home turf last weekend.

For a free transfer, the 23-year-old is proving to have been an excellent piece of business for the Welsh club. His team travel to Hull to face a promotion-chasing Tigers side.

Vipotnik was on the scoresheet when the two teams played out a 2-2 draw in Swansea back in September, and I am backing him to hit the hosts for a second time this campaign.

Harry Wilson (Fulham vs Brighton)

Harry Wilson did let me down last week as Fulham fell to a 1-0 defeat at Leeds United in the Premier League, but I am expecting both him and the Cottagers to respond in their home clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Welshman has scored in each of his past three home games in all competitions against Chelsea, Liverpool and Middlesbrough. The attacker now has eight goals in all competitions this term across 21 appearances.

I think he will be primed for another key role at Craven Cottage on Saturday and I believe he can get himself back on the scoresheet.

Kylian Mbappe (Villarreal vs Real Madrid)

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe is having an exceptional campaign with 32 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions. The French international will look to add to his tally when Los Blancos travel to Villarreal in La Loia.

Mbappe has six goals in as many league appearances heading into the weekend, having scored in each of the last three matches. He has already scored against the Yellow Submarine this season, so I think he can come back to haunt them again.

Michael Olise (Bayern vs Augsburg)

When it comes to goals for Bayern Munich, Harry Kane is the most likely scorer, but his supporting cast of Luis Diaz and Michael Olise have been regular sources of goals this season too for Die Roten.

Olise has 13 goals across 29 appearances in all competitions in 2025/26, with 10 of them coming in the Bundesliga. Bayern host Augsburg at the Allianz Arena on Saturday and I believed Olise offers value to find the net here.

The Frenchman has four goals in as many league games heading into the weekend, and he was also on the scoresheet in the reverse fixture back in August.

Nico Paz (Como vs Torino)

My selections are rounded off in Italy as Como and Torinio collide in Serie A. Como are hoping to break into the top five this weekend and one player who can help make that happen is attacking midfielder Nico Paz.

The Argentine should head into this contest full of confidence after bagging a brace in Monday's 3-0 triumph at Lazio, taking his tally for the season up to eight in the top flight.

The 21-year-old also scored against Torino when the two teams met in November, with Como running riot in a 5-1 victory. Cesc Fabregas' side are scoring for fun at the moment and Paz is going to pose a huge threat on Saturday.
