Out-of-form duo Aberdeen and Kilmarnock will be hoping to snap poor runs when they clash at Pittodrie on Wednesday night.

The Dons are five games without a win, while Kille have managed just one victory in their last quintet of matches.

Aberdeen were beaten 2-0 at Hibs at the weekend, while Kilmarnock fell to fellow Edinburgh side Hearts and there is plenty riding on Wednesday’s clash.

Aberdeen vs Kilmarnock Prediction

  • Kilmarnock draw no bet @ 11/10
  • Kilmarnock to win 1-0 @ 15/2

Team news

Shayden Morris is unlikely to be fit to return from a hamstring injury, but there is better news for on-loan defender Rhys Williams, who could return.

Kyle Vassell returned from injury to face Hearts at the weekend and should get another start. Brad Lyons and Tom Davies were also back in the squad, but Kyle Magennis and Innes Cameron are out.

Kilmarnock draw no bet @ 11/10

Aberdeen have promised plenty, but delivered very little, and the side who finished third in the Scottish Premiership last season have collected only 13 points in 13 games during this campaign.

The Dons have also said goodbye to their European adventures, have failed to win in five matches and the pressure must be starting to build on boss Barry Robson.

Aberdeen created chances, and won the shot count 17-5 at Easter Road, when losing 2-0 to Hibs at the weekend, but they are failing to convert their opportunities and been leaky at the back.

The Pittodrie side have conceded 20 goals in their last nine matches, and there have been only two home clean sheets all season. That should be a major worry for the Dons.

Kilmarnock were beaten 1-0 by Hearts on Saturday, but the Jambos recorded only one shot on target in that Rugby Park contest and Killie were unfortunate to lose that game.

Goalscoring has been an issue for Derek McInnes’ men, who have been shut out in their last three SPL matches, but they have conceded only twice in their last four and they have a fair chance of taking three points at Pittodrie.

Killie certainly make appeal on the draw-no-bet market and 11/10 looks a good price.

Kilmarnock to win 1-0 @ 15/2

If Kilmarnock are able to take the lead at Pittodrie they are defensively resolute enough to keep a haphazard Aberdeen at bay and 1-0 could be a correct-score play.

McInnes will have his troops well motivated for the return to his former club and this is a Killie side who have won two of their last three meetings with Aberdeen.
