The most famous Formula One race of the year comes our way on Sunday as the Monaco Grand Prix takes place.

There’s so much to dive into this weekend, with a real question on whether this season’s crazy overtaking will transfer to the notoriously difficult Circuit de Monaco. We backed a 6/4 winner in Canada and below you can find my Monaco Grand Prix 2026 predictions featuring betting tips and more.

Monaco Grand Prix Odds

Local hero Charles Leclerc is the favourite to win the Monaco Grand Prix at 13/8, with his teammate Lewis Hamilton at 15/4. Kimi Antonelli is 4/1 to take another win while George Russell is 5/1 to get back on track.

Reigning world champion Lando Norris is 6/1, Max Verstappen is 9/1 and Oscar Piastri is 11/1 to be standing on the top step of the podium on Sunday afternoon.

Kimi Antonelli to win the race @ 4/1

McLaren gambled on intermediates on a dry track in Canada which opened the door for a monumental battle between Russell and Antonelli, before the Brit was forced to retire on lap 30. That allowed his 19-year-old teammate to romp home to his fourth consecutive win, and he now has a 43-point lead over Russell in the Drivers’ Championship.

Interestingly, Ferrari are the favourites to win this race in Monaco based on their speed around the slower tracks and acceleration pace, and although I would love the romance of Leclerc winning his home Grand Prix again, I cannot ignore the incredible value on offer when it comes to backing Antonelli.

This is a man who has won the last four races and has a healthy gap at the top in the race for the Drivers’ Championship. Hamilton was quick in Canada as he finished second, but there were 10 seconds between himself and the race winner, while Antonelli finished 44 seconds ahead of Leclerc.

I do think Ferrari will be strong in Monaco and the track suits them, but I’m still staggered to see this price for Antonelli to take the race win. I think we have to take full advantage, as this price isn’t something usually associated with a driver that has won four in a row. Perhaps it is to do with the fact that he is 19, but the value in Monaco lies with the teenager.

Charles Leclerc top three finish @ 8/15

Leclerc will come into this race on a high having signed a new multi-year contract to stay at Ferrari. "I couldn’t be happier to continue this journey with Scuderia Ferrari HP," said Leclerc. "It has always been so much more than just a team to me. It’s the team I’ve loved and dreamt of being part of since I was a child, and after all these years it has become a second family.”

The Monegasque returns home for a special race this weekend, and how he would love to replicate the emotional scenes we saw in 2024, when he took the chequered flag. I’m not sure he will have quite the same success here, although I do think a podium finish is a decent possibility - with Ferrari growing into this campaign.

We could do with a different race winner in terms of entertainment this term, and they wouldn’t come more popular than Leclerc. Let’s play it safe and back a top-three finish for now.
