F1 Outright Odds: Max Verstappen big price for fifth title

There are just three races to go in the Formula One season and it’s all to play for at the top of the Drivers’ Championship. Max Verstappen started in the pit lane in Sao Paulo but rallied to secure a podium finish, which keeps him in contention as we head to Las Vegas.
Below you can find the Max Verstappen F1 Odds, as the Dutchman targets his fifth-consecutive title.

Verstappen has dragged himself back into contention over the second half of the season, and despite a turbulent year behind the scenes at Red Bull - with former team principal Christian Horner severing his ties with the team and getting a reported payout of around £52m in the process.
If you combine that with the fact that Verstappen’s teammate changed from Liam Lawson to Yuki Tsunoda back in March, means that it has been a less than smooth season for the 2024 world champion. However, as all around him have crumbled, Max has continued to show his brilliance.
McLaren have clearly had the best car over the course of 2025, but Verstappen has been their biggest threat, and has dragged himself back into contention, especially on his current run of form. He seemed too far away over the late spring months but three wins from four in Italy, Azerbaijan and the United States dragged him back into contention.
His performance in Brazil gave me more hope that he could stage a remarkable comeback, but he is now running out of time, especially given Lando Norris took the race win. The McLaren driver is now 49 points ahead of Verstappen and with three grands prix and one sprint race left this season, there are a maximum of 83 points available to be won.

Verstappen would surely have to win all three Grand Prix races from this point to heap the pressure on the McLarens, with Norris needing to have at least one non-points finish you would think to open the door for Verstappen.
The Dutchman even played down his chances of winning the title after a dreadful qualifying session in Brazil saying "I can forget about that. Yes, for sure,”, but I wonder if that third-place finish will have just kept his hopes alive. He’s got far more experience in these situations than either Piastri or Norris, but it does feel like he is slightly too far back to have an impact in the final stages.
This sport can change so quickly though, and with the McLarens battling each other harder than ever in the final three races, there’s an outside chance they could swipe each other out of a race. If one DNF happens for both Piastri and Norris, then Verstappen is right back in the mix.
You can never rule the four-time world champion out until it is mathematically impossible for him to get his hands on that trophy.
