History, Location and Format
The 2023 Jack’s World Series of Darts Finals is the 9th running of the competition and is held at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam, between the 15th and 17th September.
The tournament has been won by just four men in the past, with Michael van Gerwyn a four time winner, defending champion Gerwyn Price (twice), James Wade and Jonny Clayton also previous winners.
The World Series of Darts was set up in 2013 with the aim of making Darts a more global sport. The current format features six tournaments throughout the year:

Gerwyn Price to win – 7/2
‘The Iceman’ bounced back quickly from a disappointing 2nd round exit at the hands of Joe Cullen at the World Matchplay in Blackpool.
He picked up another Players Championship title in Barnsley, which was his 3rd of the season and looks to be playing some consistently good stuff.
Seeded no 2 at this event, Price is in the bottom half of the draw, with Michael Smith, Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall but I like his chances to go deep here.
Jonny Clayton e/w (1/2 2 places) – 16/1
Clayton finds himself out of the seeding here but picked up an invite and I fancy him to make the most of it.
‘The Ferret’ was magnificent in Blackpool, before being blasted away by Aspinall in the final, losing 18-6.
The 48-year-old faces German Martin Schindler in the first round, before a potential 2nd round clash against no 1 seed Rob Cross.
If he can get past Cross, he would likely face his Blackpool semi opponent Luke Humphries and from there, he’s got a real chance.
