Zimbabwe vs South Africa Prediction: Proteas to extend perfect record

It has been a wonderful 2026 T20 World Cup for South Africa, who are the only team to win every match to date, and they will feel confident of continuing on their merry way when facing Zimbabwe at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday.
The Chevrons, who did fantastically well to reach the Super 8s stage, are unable to qualify for the semi-finals after losing to the West Indies and India, but they can be proud of the progress they have made in this tournament. The Proteas have won all seven completed T20Is between the two teams, most recently registering a seven-wicket success in Harare in July last year. Team News
Despite already qualifying for the semi-finals, South Africa are not expected to make any changes for their final Super 8 match.
If they do decide to rest some players ahead of the last-four stage, George Linde, Jason Smith, Anrich Nortje and Kwena Maphaka are the four pushing for an opportunity.
Having already been eliminated, Zimbabwe could bring in the likes of Wellington Masakadza, Graeme Cremer, Clive Madande and Ben Curran for their last game of the tournament.
Zimbabwe are 10/1 to pick up their first Super 8 win, South Africa are the heavy 1/33 favourites to make it seven wins from seven.
Corbin Bosch top South Africa bowler @ 4/1
South Africa have already secured their place in the semi-finals but they shouldn't take their foot off the gas in Delhi as they look to keep themselves in peak condition for their last-four clash.
The Proteas are massive favourites for this contest and it would take a big effort from Zimbabwe, who did beat Australia and co-hosts Sri Lanka in the group stage, to pull off a big upset.
Given the lack of value in the match result market, the better play is to look at South Africa's top bowler department and Corbin Bosch jumps out at generous odds of 4/1.
The 31-year-old seamer has taken nine wickets from five matches, with three of those coming in the group-stage victory over the United Arab Emirates at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Bosch recorded figures of 3/12 to top his team's bowling stats in that contest and he looks capable of outperforming his fellow bowlers again.

Dewald Brevis over 20.5 runs @ 5/6
Another South Africa player who impressed in the win over the UAE was Dewald Brevis, who topped his team's run charts that day with 36 from 25 deliveries.
The 22-year-old made 45 in the Super 8 triumph over India - only David Miller (63) scored more - while he was not required to bat in the victory over the West Indies.
Brevis has scored at least 21 runs in four of his five T20 World Cup innings and he can achieve this mark against Zimbabwe.
