Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh Odds

At 4/9 Sri Lanka there is no doubt who the market sees as the big boys in Colombo. However, after levelling the series in some style on Sunday there may be more interest in Bangladesh at 7/4.

Team News

Avishka Fernando's place is under threat though he is still slated to bat at No.5, while the Lankans are feeling the absence of injured leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga.

In the middle order Dunith Wellelaga is poised to oust the out-of-nick Chamika Karunaratne.

After bowling Sri Lanka out for just 94 in the second T20 on Sunday and, with the series on the line, the Tigers are unlikely to make any changes.

Kusal Mendis - Top Home Team Batter @ 3/1

Bangladesh have won three of the seven T20Is they have played at the R Premadasa Stadium making it one of their favoured overseas grounds.

And they should be confident of chalking up a fourth after bowling out Sri Lanka for a paltry 94 in a handsome 83-run win in Dambulla last time.

But, with rain in the forecast and the toss crucial, this doesn't look an easy game to call, which could make the Tigers a spot of value at. The side batting first in night matches at the R Premadasa has lost nine of the last 10 fixtures.

Player bets are perhaps a better consideration before the toss and if it is rain-shortened, don't go looking too far down the order for top bat honours.

Kusal Mendis has been Sri Lanka's stand-out performer with the willow with scores of 45, 56 and 124 in the one-dayers and 73 in the first T20. He was lazily run out for eight in Dambulla and won't lose focus like that again.

Litton Das - Top Away Team Batter @ 3/1

Litton Das comes in at No.3 for Bangladesh, but that's tantamount to opening given how fragile his side's openers are.

At Dambulla he arrived at the crease with just an over gone and went on to make a classy 76 with one four and a handful of sixes. That was his first half-century in 13 innings.

When Das comes off he is electric and in a team short of runs the skipper has to fire.
