Team News
Australia's Josh Inglis made his debut for the Super Giants against the Mumbai Indians, replacing South African batter Matt Breetzke who left the squad for personal reasons.
Royal Challengers Bangalore are still without opening bat Phil Salt, who has returned to England to have a finger injury assessed. Jacob Bethell is opening with Virat Kohli in his absence.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the strong favourites to win the match at 4/7 while the home side are the 11/8 underdogs.
Among Betfred's price boosts are 9/4 from 7/4 that Virat Kohli scores 50+ runs and 7/2 for RCB to win with both teams scoring 180 or more runs.
Rishabh Pant over 20.5 runs @ 5/6
Lucknow Super Giants stalwart Rishabh Pant is coming under intense pressure over his captaincy after his side's miserable start to the IPL season but he is capable of fighting back on the pitch and scoring at least 21 runs on Thursday.
Pant has been trying to do his part at the crease despite his side's overall struggles, passing the 40-run mark in two of his last four innings, including when top-scoring for his team with 42 in their last home match against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
After their most recent match, Lucknow coach Justin Langer revealed that Pant had scored "maybe 95 off 40 balls" in a recent practice match and had looked like his formidable former self, so he looks worth backing to reach 21 in this match.

Highest individual score in match under 71.5 @ 5/6
The Ekana Stadium in Lucknow is one of the toughest venues for batters in the IPL and backing the highest individual score in the match to be 71 or lower looks worthwhile.
Swing bowlers are usually suited by the conditions at the ground and there is also something in the pitch for spinners, so it should be a far cry from the batters' paradise of the Wankhede Stadium where the Super Giants posted an improved 228/5 in their last match.
Rinku Singh of the Knight Riders managed an unbeaten 83 in the last game at the ground, but that represented more than half of his team's total of 155/7.
Mitchell Marsh top-scored with just 55 in the previous match at the venue, when the Super Giants were bowled out for only 119, while Jos Buttler had the highest score of the match with 60 for the Gujarat Titans before that.
