Team News
The Knight Riders have a bowling attack to juggle with all-rounder Cameron Green told by Cricket Australia that he is not allowed to bowl.
The Kolkata franchise have a modest pace attack with Harshit Rana and Akash Deep also out injured and Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman excluded.
The Sunrisers have seam attack issues of their own with skipper Pat Cummins still sidelined with a back issue, but England quick Brydon Carse could feature though after recovering from a hand injury.
KKR are 1/1 for their first home fixture of the 2026 season at Eden Gardens with the visiting Sunrisers rated 4/5 shots.
Match sixes have been set at 22.5 in over/under betting, with match fours in at 33.5.
Top away team batter - Ishan Kishan @ 14/5
Sunrisers' stand-in captain Ishan Kishan is a hard man to oppose in top-scorer betting for his side
There is no end of beef in the SRH top order, but when it comes to consistency Kishan is the real star.
He looked in awesome nick on Saturday, thumping 80 in vain against RCB and that should be no surprise to anyone coming off a T20 World Cup in which he was the competition's fourth highest scorer with 317 runs.
He has been handed the Sunrisers' armband with Cummins currently crocked and looks made for the added responsibility. Expect another classy showing in the middle from the 27-year-old in Kolkata.

Over 33.5 match fours @ 5/6
The last time these sides met at Eden Gardens in 2025 there were 26 boundaries - even though the losing Sunrisers were skittled for just 120.
The evidence of their first two games of this season is that their batting units are in good working order while their bowling attacks are very definitely not.
Both teams posted over 200 in their openers; both teams failed to defend those totals, losing by six wickets in each case.
That looks like a recipe for a high scorer with the ropes in and the Eden Gardens outfield at its slickest.
There were 32 fours in the Sunrisers' loss to RCB on Saturday and 41 in Kolkata's defeat by Mumbai a day later, so ake these two sides to clear 33.5 match fours.
