KKR vs DC Odds

Kolkata Knight Riders are arguably the form team in the IPL and have been installed as the 4/6 favourites to finish the regular season with another win. The Delhi Capitals were thrashed by eight wickets by KKR earlier this month with home advantage and are 6/5 to exact their revenge.

KL Rahul will be the leading run-scorer on show in this match after amassing 533 runs so far, and he is a strong 15/8 favourite to top score for the Capitals, while Finn Allen smashed an unbeaten hundred in KKR's earlier victory over DC and is the 11/4 market leader to top score once again for his side.

Team News

Kolkata Knight Riders will have to make at least one change as Angkrish Raghuvanshi suffered a fractured finger and concussion in an on-field collision with Varun Chakravarthy while attempting to take a catch against Mumbai Indians last time out. The wicketkeeper-batter has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament. Tejasvi Dahiya officially replaced him as a concussion substitute against MI and is set to play on Sunday.

Delhi may well keep faith with the same line-up that beat Rajasthan Royals by five wickets last time out, although spinner Tripurana Vijay was brought in for that game and went for 29 off two wicketless overs. Paceman Auqib Nabi Dar made way despite economical figures of 0-32 against Punjab Kings previously and is hoping for a recall.

Delhi Capitals to win @ 6/5

Delhi Capitals do not have a great recent record against the Knight Riders, losing all of the last four games between the two, which includes a comprehensive eight-wicket defeat earlier this month.

However, a case can be made for them to turn the tables in Sunday's encounter, not least by the fact that they have won both of their two games since that home reverse.

Even if RR were to lose Sunday's early game, a win is not good enough on its own for KKR to make the play-offs - they have to win convincingly in order to usurp PBKS for fourth spot, and that means taking chances.

That scenario could play into the hands of a visiting attack that boasts the likes of Mitchell Starc, Lungi Ndidi and Axar Patel as the hosts will have to force the game at every opportunity.

Starc missed the start of the season but has started to come good, taking nine wickets in five matches, which includes a four-wicket haul in the win over the Royals last time out.

Throw in the fact that KKR's leading runscorer this season Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who has amassed 422 runs, has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign and things might unravel pretty quickly for the hosts without their batting anchor.

While Finn Allen has shown his destructive capabilities at times, he is the epitome of inconsistency, with his last eight scores reading 6, 9, 1, 29, 100 not out, 18, 93 and 8 and with the pressure ramped up, he is difficult to trust to deliver the goods.

While DC cannot qualify for the play-offs, the pressure is off and finishing on a high to potentially claim fifth place looks appealing at 6/5.

KKR vs DC - Match Winner

Delhi Capitals

Abishek Porel to be Delhi Capitals' top batter @ 9/2

KL Rahul has had a fantastic season on a personal level, scoring 533 runs at an average of 44.41 to lie ninth in the race for the Orange Cap going into Sunday's action.

While he is a worthy favourite to lead the away side's scoring, 15/8 is a little on the short side despite bouncing back to form with 56 against the Royals last time out.

Prior to that he had been dismissed for 12, 23 and 9 and Abishek Porel looks worth chancing to lead the way this time. While he has had limited chances to shine, he smashed 51 off just 31 balls in only his third match of the season against RR last time out, and may just be underestimated at 9/2 to maintain his good form.
