Delhi Capitals face a resurgent Kolkata Knight Riders side in Friday's IPL match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi (15:00 BST). The Knight Riders have boosted their play-off hopes by winning their last three matches while Delhi are on a run of four defeats in five games.

The head-to-head record also favours Kolkata, who have won the last three meetings between the teams including a 14-run victory in Delhi last season. Read on for my DC vs KKR predictions.

DC vs KKR Odds

Delhi Capitals have won only one of their five home matches this season but they are 4/5 to defeat 1/1 Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday.

Lokesh Rahul, who scored an unbeaten 152 in last month's home defeat to Punjab Kings, is 2/1 favourite to be Delhi's top batter.

His opening partner Pathum Nissanka is 7/2 but the Sri Lankan star has reached 50 only once in nine IPL innings.

Team News

Delhi Capitals fast bowler Lungi Ngidi returned from a head injury to play against Chennai on Tuesday. The South Africa international should line up alongside Mitchell Starc in the pace attack so Kyle Jamieson is set to miss out again.

Kolkata Knight Riders are still searching for their best combination at the top of the order. Opener Finn Allen slammed 29 off 13 balls in the weekend win over Sunrisers Hyderabad so should be preferred to fellow New Zealander Tim Seifert.

Match Result - Kolkata Knight Riders @ 1/1

Kolkata Knight Riders had a miserable start to the 2026 IPL season but they have hit form with victories over Rajasthan, Lucknow and Hyderabad in their last three matches.

They bowled out a powerful Sunrisers batting unit for 165 in their last outing on Sunday, when India spinner Varun Chakravarthy looked back to his best.

Kolkata are a good bet to extend their winning streak against Delhi Capitals, who have enjoyed few home comforts at the Arun Jaitley Stadium this season.

Their players appear puzzled by the inconsistency of the pitches at their home ground. Last month Punjab chased down a record target of 265 against Delhi, who were then bowled out for just 75 by Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the same venue two days later.

The Capitals' batsmen crawled to 155-7 in Tuesday's eight-wicket defeat to Chennai and they could be kept quiet by ace KKR spinners Varun and Sunil Narine.

Rinku Singh to be Kolkata Knight Riders top batter @ 4/1

Kolkata's winning run has coincided with the return to form of middle-order destroyer Rinku Singh, who was part of India's T20 World Cup-winning squad earlier this year.

Rinku had a sluggish start to the IPL campaign, along with many of his KKR colleagues, but he has racked up unbeaten scores of 53, 83 and 22 (off 11 balls) in his last three games.

He has played a couple of eye-catching knocks against Delhi recently, cracking 26 from just eight deliveries in Kolkata's away win in April 2024.

Rinku struck a swift 36  the second-highest score of the KKR innings  on last year's trip to Delhi and he returns to the Indian capital with a spring in his step.
