Jake Paul is generally despised by the boxing community but you cannot argue with the fact that he’s got people talking about him.

Coming off the back of a first career loss against Brit Tommy Fury, The Youtuber now attempts to get his boxing career back on track with a bout against former MMA star Nate Diaz.

Diaz was never a top tier UFC fighter but had a memorable spat with Conor McGregor, which has given him a high profile amongst casual fight fans.

The 38-year-old has made no secret of his desire to compete in the squared circle in the past and a massively high profile fight against Paul is as good as way as any to throw his hat into the ring.

‘The Problem Child’ has talked about the potential of himself becoming a world champion one day but that looked laughable as he was outboxed by a novice in Tommy Fury.

He has to win this one and impressively to keep himself in the public eye. Another loss and that boxing career could be a pipe dream.

The press conference ended in a mass brawl between the two camps, so either way, this should be a tasty one.

What’s been said?

“I love it when all these high profile fighting names come out and bad mouth me as irrelevant. If I was so irrelevant you wouldn’t be talking about me!

Nate is a Bully, He only beats people up in the street who can’t defend themselves. Now it’s time for me to beat up the Bully”

Jake Paul

“He started popping off at a load of MMA fighters but I was still in contract

I was like “Someone needs to shut this guy up!

You’ve got to respect that he gonna get in the ring and fight somebody

I’m better than him, I just got to go out there and get the job done”
