Jake Paul vs Andre August Predictions: Problem Child can get the KO

There's a rare Friday fight night taking place in the early hours, as YouTube star Jake Paul steps into the ring against an actual boxer in the form of Andre August. We've taken a look at the fight odds and our Betting Predictions.
Jake Paul v Andre August Tips
- Jake Paul to win by KO/TKO - 15/8
Jake Paul (7-1-0(4KO)) responded well to his first ever career loss to Tommy Fury, back in February, when out-pointing UFC-star Nate Diaz over 10 rounds in August. Talking of that month, his next opponent is coincidentally named Andre August (10-1-1(5KO)) and is an actual live professional boxer.
The first and only time Paul faced a boxer it didn't end well, as despite dropping Fury, he was out-boxed and lost a split decision. It remains unclear what sort of record and quality August actually has but he has only fought over the six round distance before and will be stepping up to eight stanzas for this bout.
It's a change of tack from Paul, who appears to want to be taken seriously as a boxer and knows that high-profile fights against ex-MMA guys is not the way to earn respect. This fight won't be on PPV and features him taking on a virtual unknown, so another loss here could be catastrophic to any claims about winning title belts in the near future.
Where and when is the fight taking place?
The fight is taking place at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida on Friday 15th December and will be broadcast live and exclusively on DAZN in the UK.

What's been said?
Press conference starts around the 59 minute mark...
"I’m a professional boxer and I want to be world champion, so I need to pursue the path towards greatness against people who have been boxing their whole life.
So far, my entire boxing career has been on pay-per-view, but now it’s about more than business. Now I want to build my experience in the ring against seasoned fighters.
I’m coming to prove my greatness on Friday, Dec. 15 live on DAZN for the world to see."

"I don't talk very much. I'm all about that action.
Jake Paul has the money, the fame, the team and the resources, but he doesn't have my hunger.
When that bell rings, I am going to go straight to Jake Paul and ring his bell and send him back to YouTube for good."

Jake Paul to win by KO/TKO - 15/8
Jake Paul is still extremely raw but there is no doubt he is a handful for a novice fighter, which Andre August clearly is.
The 35-year-old has only fought 12 times in 10 years, showing that he hasn't got the minerals to be fighting at any high level.
His biggest fight was for the Texas Combative Sports Program Texas Light Heavy title, which kind of says it all.
I reckon the 'Problem Child' can land one of those wild looping rights and detonate it on August's chin.
We've not seen the last of Jake Paul just yet...
