Double Bet Calculator

A double bet is exactly as it sounds. One bet on two selections to win. It’s one of the easiest bets to place fairly easy to work out the returns for. The double bet calculator calculates the inputted stake multiplied by the odds on the two selections and gives us our profit and total returns.

Of course this can be made slightly more complicated if the bets are each-way or there is a rule 4 deduction which are covered on our main bet calculator page.

Using the double bet calculator is fairly simple. Firstly, make sure you have double highlighted in the dropdown on the calculator. Then simply enter your chosen stake and the odds of the two selections, whether in decimal or fractional format.

The double bet calculator will do everything else on your behalf and will display the total returns and how much profit you would make, should both selections win.

So for example:

A £10 double bet on two horses at 4/1 and 3/1 will return a total of £200, of which £190 will be profit. This is worked out by: £10 stake x 5(4/1) x 4(3/1) = £200

• Single Stakes About – An up-and-down bet starting with a single stake, where any return from the first selection is carried forward to the second. 
• Double Stakes About – An up-and-down bet starting with a double stake, where the return from the first selection is used to fund the second. 
• Round Robin – 10 bets from three selections, creating three up-and-down singles, three doubles and a treble. 
• Flag – 23 bets from four selections, creating six doubles, six up-and-down pairs, four trebles and one 4-fold. 
• Super Flag – 46 bets from five selections, creating 10 doubles, 10 up-and-down pairs, 10 trebles, five 4-folds and one 5-fold.
