Lucky 15 Tips: Where there’s a Will – at the double?

Wednesday already dear reader, and time surely for a visit to the course affectionately referred to as 'Newmarket-by-the-Sea.' A six-race card at hopefully sunny Yarmouth then, kicking in at 14:15.
Some of the top dogs in the saddle are present, and several big yards have representatives in Norfolk, too. Enjoy!

14:15 Great Yarmouth - Dream Illusion @ 3/1
A 7f Class 5 handicap for fillies, three-year-olds and above.
Our selection is Dream Illusion, a four-year-old daughter of Oasis Dream. She's trained in Lincolnshire by Michael Herrington, whose string are in red-hot order right now with ample up-to-the-minute evidence at Pontefract yesterday and Leicester at the weekend.
Dream Illusion contested a similar affair to this at Wetherby 34 days ago and went down by a neck off a mark of 68, and gets to run off the same figure today.
Dylan Hogan takes over in the saddle and knows her well. She's in form, the yard are flying, and though she looks to have a bit of a task on under the race conditions I wouldn't swap her.
14:45 Great Yarmouth - Holi Scarlett @ 9/4
Two-year-olds sprint 5f in this Class 5 nursery.
Holi Scarlett is a filly by a G3-winner at this same age, out of a modest dam who was by another precocious Group-winning juvenile though. Bred to be fast, this one.
Four runs so far, and one win - last time out at Nottingham just six days ago. That was another nursery off a mark of 64 (won by half-a-length). She reappears swiftly hoping to defy a 6lb hike and I'm assuming connections feel that must be well within the realms of possibility.
HQ-based trainer Stuart Williams makes the around 70-mile journey to the coast and has engaged Will Buick no less to do the pushing. That's a tip in itself for me and she has shown she gets further than this bare 5f which will surely be key in the last few hundred yards.
15:45 Great Yarmouth - Hollywell Stream @ 9/4
The excellent former champion Buick is on board once again here with Jane Chapple-Hyam's Hollywell Stream.
She's a three-year-old maiden by prolific sire Lope De Vega, out of a Sea The Stars mare. Three runs to date, no wins, but a big statement made last time 18 days ago when finishing a neck second in a Donny novice over today's trip of 10f.
She runs in the famous Harris silks and the trainer has had five winners from her last 15 runners - serious form. Will's booked, and the previous three jocks to have received the call-up bear close scrutiny too.
Harry Davies, Oisin Murphy, and Danny Muscutt. I think connections think quite a bit of her ...
16:45 Great Yarmouth - Zafaan @ 7/4
Another 10f contest, this time a Class 6 handicap for four-year-olds and above.
Zafaan is a course-and-distance scorer, trained by Charlie Clover, and will be ridden by Billy Loughnane. The six-year-old Zoffany gelding has three wins from 29 starts, the latest of which was here at Yarmouth 12 days ago.
He prevailed by a neck off a mark of 49 and given that narrow margin has only been raised a pound for today's tilt. Same trip/grade today, and Billy The Kid could hardly be in better form too.
Goes well here, top jock booked, in form. Lots to like ...
If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £168 for a £7.50 total stake. If you can improve upon our selections (of course you can) - then go for it!
