Tuesday Greyhound Tips: Walking in a Michael Sunderland

1 pt 19:44 Sunderland – Shinjim Magic (T3) @ SP

Three from Sunderland this evening on a competitive all graded card. At 19:44, look out for the Yvonne Bell-trained middle seed SHINJIM MAGIC, who runs from T3 in the A1 graded race over the standard four-bend 450-metre trip at the north east venue. The August 2022 son of Magical Bale returned to action recently following a layoff and was sent off as the 9/4 favourite and backers never had a moment's worry.

Shinjim produced the magic and made all in 27.38. Tonight, it's all eyes on the break. If Shimjim Magic brings his trapping boots again this could be all over bar the shouting by the time he hits the third bend. Swift Kylie (T6) bolted up last time out and would be a huge runner with a smart exit from the boxes. As would well-drawn railer Zesty Strawberry in T1.

1 pt 20:19 Sunderland – Kilteely Glory (T3) @ SP

The A8 graded race at 20:19 can go to lightly raced October 2024 youngster KILTEELY GLORY, who runs from T3 for trainer Paul Miller. The son of Dorotas Wildcat caught the eye on debut and then ran a cracker on his second start, getting up late on to win by half a length. Next time out, over this 450-metre distance for the third time, Kilteely Glory was badly crowded at the first bend, and a line can be put through that run.

Tonight, if the youngster gets it right at the boxes and leads round, he can kick for home off the second bend and prove hard to beat. Stackemup Ricky has claims from T2, as does Cagey Nancy from T1. Freeway Sky (T6) bolted up in A9 grade last time out and has a chance with a ping break.

1 pt 21:11 Sunderland – Rocks Anne (T1) @ SP

Next up at Sunderland is ROCKS ANNE from T1 in the A3 graded race at 21:11. Damn Good (T3) and Hollyhill Rose (T4) will battle for the early lead, but if Anne turns third and within striking distance, it's race on. The January 2024 daughter of Grangeview Ten stays on well, she's a type 28.70 type from off the pace, a repeat of that puts her right in the mix this evening.

The key will be the break and run into the first bend. It's imperative that Rocks Anne holds Thors Hope (T2) at lid rise and gets first crack at the leaders. Gallant Queen (T5) returned to action recently following her season. She's another who will be looking to lead round and could get involved at a price.
