The Broncos will win again at some point. But I just can’t back them right now, and especially not on the evidence of their last run-out against the Rabbitohs.

They barely looked like an NRL outfit in that 48-6 hammering, and coach Maguire will have spent the last fortnight reminding his players what representing the Broncos is supposed to be about.

It ought to be a far more focussed Brisbane side which takes to the field on Friday, but the Roosters look a better team at this moment so I can only back the visitors.

I expect the Bronx to give this one a good go, and it may be a back-and-forth encounter at times. But the Roosters should be the ones with the confidence to finish it out late on.
