Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Qatar Prediction: Both teams to find the net in Seattle

Dennis Hadzikadunic appears to be the leading contender to replace the suspended Tarik Muharemovic in Bosnia's defence.

Ermin Mahmic might be considered for selection on Wednesday following his consolation goal in the 4-1 defeat against Switzerland last time out.

Ivan Basic may be recalled to the engine room following the volume of goals conceded against the Swiss. Boss Sergej Barbarez is likely going to keep his faith in the strike partnership of Edin Dzeko and Ermedin Demirovic.

Qatar have two suspensions to deal with as both Homam Ahmed and Assim Madibo were dismissed in the 6-0 humiliation against Canada. Julen Lopetegui will be forced into two changes on Wednesday, but he could be inclined to make more given what happened last time.

Sultan Al Brake is expected to come in for Ahmed in defence, while Karim Boudiaf might take Madibo's spot in midfield.

Betfred is favouring Bosnia when it comes to the outcome of this clash. The Dragons are the 4/11 favourites to come out on top in Seattle.

Six of their past seven matches have been draws, though, and the stalemate can be backed at 4/1.

Qatar are a 13/2 punt to secure their first victory at the World Cup finals.

Bosnia and Qatar are both heading into Wednesday's clash on the back of heavy defeats. They conceded a total of 10 goals between them on matchday two, so neither side's defence is in the best shape.

Red cards influenced both games, in fairness, but I do think that even with 11 players out on the field, these two back lines are vulnerable. I think this'll continue in Seattle because both teams will have to go for it if they wish to reach the round of 32.

I predict that we'll see a frantic contest and so I'm backing both teams to find the net, with BTTS - Yes landing in 10 of Bosnia's previous 11 outings, including their two appearances at the tournament so far.

Home Team Total Goals - Under 2.5 @ 8/15

I would say I'm leaning towards a Bosnia victory but I'm not brave enough to tip it and leave a paper trail. The Dragons do have the resources to seal three points against Qatar but I don't see it being comfortable.

Qatar, despite the defeat against Canada, proved troublesome against Switzerland on matchday one to take a point against the Nati. But it's more the fact that Bosnia have managed no more than one goal across each of their past seven fixtures that draws me to the Under 2.5 selection from the Home Team Total Goals market.
