Ross Stewart hasn’t played for his country for four years, but has been called up after a successful season with Southampton. Teenage talent Findlay Curtis is also in, and below you can find Scotland’s 2026 World Cup squad.

Craig Gordon, now 43, has been included as one of the three goalkeepers, but the trio haven’t played much football between them this term. Angus Gunn will be first choice but has only made one league appearance for Nottingham Forest, and Rangers’ Liam Kelly didn’t feature at all in the Scottish Premiership.

Middlesbrough’s Tommy Conway misses out through injury, while Lennon Miller can count himself unlucky to not be selected, having played 14 times for Udinese in Serie A this term. Hull City’s Oli McBurnie is also unfortunate to miss out, having dragged the Tigers all the way to this weekend’s Championship play-off final.

World Cup Odds

Stewart’s good form, including a goal in the play-off semi-final vs Boro has earned him a spot back in the squad, having last featured for his country in 2022. Eleven goals in 33 appearances has got him a spot, alongside Che Adams, Lyndon Dykes, George Hirst, and Lawrence Shankland as the five attackers.

There is plenty of excitment surrounding Curtis’ inclusion, as he made his debut against Japan in March and scored five times on loan at Kilmarnock. He’s in along with Ben Gannon-Doak, who is back from injury at Bournemouth.

Scotland face Haiti (14 June), Morocco (19 June) and Brazil (24 June) in Group C.
