Premier League Stats & Best Bets for Week 36's Matches.

  • Liverpool vs Chelsea
  • Saturday, 12:30
  • Live on TNT Sports

Key stat: Chelsea have conceded in each of their last 13 Premier League games, shipping three goals in four of the last five, while Liverpool have conceded two or more in 16 matches this season.

Best bet: Joao Pedro's overhead kick against Forest was a cracker - but it was Chelsea's only goal in their last six league matches, all of which have been lost. The Blues have only won one of their past 10 trips to Anfield and the home win looks fairly priced at just under evens. But with these two seemingly unable to defend this season, we'll boost that to 12/5 by throwing in Over 3.5 Goals.

  • Brighton vs Wolves
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key stat: Wolves have scored just seven goals in 17 Premier League away matches this season, with only Norwich (2019/20) averaging a lower goals per game ratio in a single campaign.

Best bet: Wolves provided a rare moment of cheer for their fans when avoiding defeat at home to 10-man Sunderland last weekend but the travelling support have had little to get excited about this season and a trip to a Brighton side who the Midlanders have not beaten in eight attempts doesn't promise to deliver much more happiness. The Seagulls fell to defeat at Newcastle last time out, but it was four wins in five before that and they should be in for a comfortable afternoon here. We'll take the odds-against price on a win to nil.

  • Fulham vs Bournemouth
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key stat: Bournemouth have only conceded six goals in their last eight away matches in the Premier League, while both teams to score has only landed once in Fulham's last eight in all competitions

Best bet: Fulham have failed to score in five of their last seven matches but they won the other two and are on the hunt for a third consecutive home victory here. Having been the great entertainers earlier in the season, Bournemouth have become far more parsimonious which has been a key factor in their 15-match unbeaten run. Under 2.5 Goals looks a touch overpriced here at 6/4 and that's the play.

  • Sunderland vs Manchester United
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key stat: Only Wolves have scored fewer first half goals than Sunderland's 12 this season, while Manchester United have gone into the break ahead 14 times - only bettered by Arsenal and Manchester City

Best bet: Support is growing for Michael Carrick to get the Manchester United job on a permanent basis and it's easy to see why - since he took over on January 17, no team has won more points (32). They head to a Sunderland side probably still reeling from the 5-0 home hammering by Nottingham Forest and we'll back the Red Devils to make a customary fast start here against a Black Cats outfit who often begin games slowly.

  • Manchester City vs Brentford
  • Saturday, 17:30
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Though they've only failed to score in one of their nine Premier League games against Brentford, Man City's average of 1.4 goals per game against the Bees is their lowest against any opponent they've faced under Pep Guardiola.

Best bet: Having done all the hard work in reeling in Arsenal, Manchester City threw it all away by dropping two points at Everton on Monday and they face an uphill battle given the Gunners' kind run-in. But all they can do is put the pressure on Mikel Arteta's men and they should have enough in the tank to beat a Brentford side with one win in seven. With stakes so high and the Bees generally solid in this match-up, it's unlikely to be a goalfest and we'll back Pep Guardiola's men in a double with Under 3.5 Goals.

  • Burnley vs Aston Villa
  • Sunday, 14:00

Key stat: Aston Villa have picked up just seven points in their last eight Premier League matches, with no wins in their last five on the road, while Burnley are winless in 13 home games in the top flight.

Best bet: Aston Villa being labelled a "disgrace" for daring to rotate ahead of a massive European semi-final was one of the more hysterical takes of the season and resting key players proved to be the right call as Unai Emery's men strolled through to the final. The Spaniard is likely to change the team again after what was a high-intensity display on Thursday and this could open the door for a Burnley side desperate to give their home support a bit of cheer. We'll take the chance on the Clarets picking up a point at a decent price.

  • Crystal Palace vs Everton
  • Sunday, 14:00

Key stat: Crystal Palace have won just one of their last 22 Premier League games against Everton, last beating the Toffees in December 2021

Best bet: Palace made it a clean sweep of English teams through to European finals when completing victory over Shakhtar Donetsk on Thursday and it's safe to say all of Oliver Glasner's eggs are in the Conference League basket as he looks to bid farewell in style. Everton remain in the hunt for the European places despite becoming the first team in Premier League history to drop points in three consecutive games thanks to goals in the 90th minute or later. With the Eagles likely to rotate, we'll back the Toffees to maintain their dominant run in this fixture.

  • Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle United
  • Sunday, 14:00

Key stat: Nottingham Forest have won their last three Premier League games, scoring 12 goals, while Newcastle have lost nine of their 16 top flight matches in 2026

Best bet: Prior to Thursday's hammering by Aston Villa for Forest, the recent form for both these sides pointed to a home banker: the hosts with five wins on the bounce in all competitions and Newcastle with five defeats in six. It's hard to say how much of an effect the 4-0 loss will have on Vitor Pereira's men and that's probably why the market is finding the two hard to split. But Forest have been nothing if not resilient this season and they are still not totally out of relegation trouble, so the 13/8 on the home win looks like a touch of value.

  • West Ham vs Arsenal
  • Sunday, 16:30
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Arsenal have scored 27 goals from set pieces this season, more than any other side, with their 17 from corners already a Premier League record, while West Ham have conceded the most goals from corners of any team (15)

Best bet: The biggest game of the weekend, given the implications at both ends of the table, and it could well be a nervy one - we're unlikely to see a repeat of the 5-2 away victory last season. Given it's a must-win for Arsenal, expect Mikel Arteta to revert to type and make the game physical with a reliance on set pieces - something West Ham have struggled with all season. Gabriel is more often than not the target for Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka when they are whipping balls into the box and we'll take a flyer on the Gunners centre-back scoring with his head at a chunky price.

  • Tottenham vs Leeds United
  • Monday, 20:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Joao Palhinha has had 15 shots on target in the league this season, and scored four goals, having started 20 matches.

Best bet: Finding an angle in the match odds for this one is difficult - Tottenham are on an upward curve under Roberto De Zerbi, with two wins and a draw in his four games so far, but the home form has been dire, so odds-on quotes don't appeal, while Leeds are 3/1 but have only won twice on the road all season. So we'll head instead to the shots on target market and Joao Palhinha. The Portuguese enforcer scored the all important winner at Wolves and hit the post at Villa and is not afraid to have a pop. We'll back him at 6/4 to make the keeper work.
