Punjab Kings were runners-up to Royal Challengers Bangalore in last year’s IPL and they have got off on exactly the right track this season as they look to avenge that defeat.

The Kings started with two impressive chases against Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings respectively, getting to totals of 163 and 210 with relative ease.

They were aiming to chase the Knight Riders in their third game, but it was ended after just 22 balls with rain stopping play.

Their batting line-up has been one of the best in the competition thus far and their bowling attack is not bad either, with Marco Jansen, Xavier Bartlett and Arshdeep Singh a formidable pace trio.

The same cannot be said for Sunrisers, who are lacking something of a spark with the ball.

Their only win this season came against a poor Knight Riders side and these opponents are a big step up in class, so the Kings are fancied to continue their strong start by winning this one.

Bartlett started the abandoned game against the Knight Riders with a bang, taking two wickets for nine runs in the 10 balls that he bowled before the weather intervened.

The Australian seamer has been more effective than team-mate Arshdeep and looks a tempting price to be the Kings' top bowler in this clash.

On a pitch which could provide plenty of assistance to the seamers, the experienced pacer is fancied to shine.
