Premier league predictions

Nick still leads the way in our Premier League predictions leaderboard but I did collect a respectable 14 points over the last two weeks to reduce the deficit. There is another exciting round of fixtures coming way this weekend for us to try and guess some correct scores.

  • Liverpool 2-2 Fulham @ 12/1

  • Chelsea 1-3 Man City @ 14/1
  • Man U 3-1 Leeds @ 12/1

West Ham 1-1 Wolves @ 13/2

West Ham United and Wolves are both still fighting for safety, although the former has much less to do than the latter for that to happen. They meet at the London Stadium on Friday night and I don't think there is much to separate them.

Wolves won the reverse fixture but it is not expected to be so easy this time around. I'm going to sit on the fence and go for a draw.

Nick: 2-1

Simon: 1-0

Arsenal 2-0 Bournemouth @ 7/1

Backing Arsenal for a 2-0 victory has been something of a safety blanket for us predictors this season. That is what I am going for again as the Gunners host AFC Bournemouth. Arsenal are nine points clear at the summit with seven games left to play.

I can't see them faltering at home now that we are in the final stretch.

Nick: 2-1

Simon: 2-1

Premier League Odds

Brentford 1-1 Everton @ 6/1

Brentford won a six-goal thriller when they played at Everton earlier in the season. The two sides meet again in west London on Saturday and I think this clash won't be as hectic.

The Toffees head here having won three of their previous four matches in the top flight, while Brentford are on a run of three consecutive draws. I think this run will extend to a fourth.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 0-2

Burnley 1-2 Brighton @ 7/1

After beating Liverpool last time out, Brighton & Hove Albion head to Burnley on a two-game winning streak in the league. The Seagulls have four victories from their past five outings in the Premier League, while Burnley have lost three of their last four.

Away win.

Liverpool 2-2 Fulham @ 12/1

Liverpool's title defence has been pathetic to say the least. They are 21 points behind leaders Arsenal and are winless in their last three league appearances, losing two of them.

The Reds also recently suffered an embarrassing 4-0 defeat at Manchester City in the FA Cup. Liverpool host Fulham at Anfield, and the Cottagers have won three of their last five games in the top flight.

Just like they did at home in January, I fancy Fulham to pinch a point off the Reds.

Nick: 1-3

Simon: 0-1

Palace 1-1 Newcastle @ 6/1

Crystal Palace have given themselves a 10-point cushion from the relegation zone as they look to end the season strongly. They host an inconsistent Newcastle United side next, with the Magpies still reeling from losing both league fixtures against rivals Sunderland.

Neither side is in outstanding form, so the stalemate seems a real possibility.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 3-3

Forest 2-2 Villa @ 12/1

Nottingham Forest sit three points above the relegation zone but they are three games unbeaten in the league ahead of their home tussle with Aston Villa. The Villans are fighting to hold on to a top-five spot in the table and they ended a three-game losing streak with three points against West Ham in their latest league outing.

At home, Forest will be fired up for this clash and they should be good for a point against a Villa side that looks fixated on their Europa League campaign right now.

Nick: 1-1

Simon: 2-1

Sunderland 2-1 Spurs @ 17/2

Roberto De Zerbi is going to take charge of his first Tottenham Hotspur game on Sunday as they travel to Sunderland. Spurs are still without a league win in 2026 and they have lost eight of their previous 11 fixtures in the top flight.

Sunderland have two wins from their past three and will be buoyed by their success over rivals Newcastle last time out. I fancy a home win.

Nick: 2-2

Simon: 1-3

Chelsea 1-3 Man City @ 14/1

Chelsea do not look great right now, so I do fear for them in their home clash with Man City on Sunday. The Citizens dismantled Liverpool with ease in the FA Cup quarter-finals and they are eight games unbeaten in the Premier League.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 0-2

Football Odds

Man U 3-1 Leeds @ 12/1

Leeds United are without a win in their last six matches in the league, which does not bode well for them ahead of their trip to Manchester United on Monday. The Red Devils have won three of their five most recent outings in the Premier League, including a 3-1 success over Villa in their latest home game.

I am expecting another three points for Michael Carrick's men.
