Football Bet of the Day: Another delightful double for Kane

There are 10 rounds of matches left to play in the Bundesliga and Bayern Munich are 11 points clear at the summit. The defending champions kick off the weekend's action on Friday at the Allianz Arena, with Borussia Monchengladbach making the trip south (19:30 GMT, BBC iPlayer).
My Football Bet of the Day comes from this contest and you can check it out below.
Football Bet of the Day - Friday, March 6

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Monchengladbach Odds
Bayern Munich are 1/8 to claim their 11th home league win of the season.
There have been two draws in Borussia Monchengladbach's last five outings in the Bundesliga, and the stalemate here is priced at 15/2. Die Fohlen are 14/1 to beat Bayern for the first time in three years.
Both teams have found the net in each of the hosts' past seven top-flight appearances at the Allianz. BTTS - Yes is marketed at 4/5 on this occasion.
Vincent Kompany's side are edging closer to a second consecutive Bundesliga title with each passing game, and once again it is largely down to the contributions of their main man, Harry Kane.
The striker is having another scintillating season in Germany. He has scored 30 goals across 24 league matches, which is his best return after this benchmark since joining Die Bayern in the summer of 2023.
He's the heavy 1/3 favourite to strike anytime on Friday and rightly so, but England's all-time leading goalscorer remains generously priced in other scoring markets. The selection that I am drawn to is for the Bayern front man to net two-plus goals against Gladbach.
Football Bet of the Day Stats
- Harry Kane has scored 30 goals in 24 Bundesliga matches this season
- Kane has scored 2-plus goals in 9 league fixtures this season, including each of the past 4
- The Bayern striker has 3 goals in 5 meetings with Gladbach
Kane is no stranger to finding the net multiple times in matches. He has accomplished this feat on nine occasions in the Bundesliga alone this term. Interestingly, the 32-year-old has bagged braces in each of his previous four outings in the top flight heading into Friday's clash with Monchengladbach.
The former Tottenham Hotspur man became the third player in Bundesliga history to achieve this, following Lothar Emmerich (1967) and Tomislav Maric (2001). Kane's latest double against Borussia Dortmund also accounted for more history. His total for the season in all competitions now stands at 45 goals and he is the first Englishman since Dixie Dean in 1931/32 to reach this milestone.
The Bayern centre-forward has the Midas touch in front of goal and his exquisite record of 92 goals in 87 Bundesliga matches proves that. Gladbach's defenders would be right to be terrified of facing him in his current mood, and Kane has been a nuisance to Die Fohlen in the past.
Kane has scored three times in five outings against Gladbach and I believe that more goals lie in wait for him in this fixture on Friday night. The 8/5 (38.5%) price for him to deliver another double offers great value to punters.
