Wrexham vs Portsmouth Prediction: Red Dragons’ promotion push can roll on

There are genuine reasons to believe that Wrexham can win promotion to the Premier League, as they sit sixth in the second tier heading into Tuesday's visit from Portsmouth. The Red Dragons beat Ipswich 5-3 on Saturday to end a run of three at home in the league with victory, but Pompey aren't to be discounted after recording an impressive 3-1 victory at third-placed Millwall that saw them move six points clear of the bottom three.
November's reverse game at Fratton Park finished 0-0, but this return fixture looks unlikely to be dull, with both teams having plenty to play for. Below you can find my Wrexham vs Portsmouth predictions.

Team News
Ben Sheaf departed early in Wrexham's win over Ipswich and George Dobson could again take his place.
January signing Zak Vyner remains out with a toe injury, while Liberato Cacace (hamstring) and Matty James (toe) are also closing on returns, but Tuesday will come too soon.
Portsmouth's number of injury absentees has reached double figures, but Harvey Blair returned to the squad on Saturday following a hip injury and will hope to play his first minutes since January's 4-1 FA Cup defeat to Arsenal.
Wrexham are 21/20 to record a home victory, while Portsmouth can be backed at 11/4.
The draw is available at 9/4, with another goalless scoreline is 8/1. Of Wrexham's last eight Championship home games, seven have seen both teams score and that's available at 5/6.
Wrexham to win and both teams to score @ 10/3
Wrexham may still lack consistency, but momentum is back with them after Saturday's impressive victory.
Phil Parkinson's squad was again strengthened in the winter transfer window and another win on Tuesday could move them up to fifth, with Hull facing a difficult home game against Derby.
Wrexham's fixtures are rarely dull and seven of their last eight home league outings have seen both sides score.
Pompey's win at Millwall was their second on the bounce in South London, them having also won 3-1 at Charlton.
Injury issues are unifying John Mousinho's side, but they may fall short in an entertaining game at the Racecourse Ground.

Josh Windass anytime goalscorer @ 2/1
Josh Windass scored in both Saturday's win over Ipswich and the only goal in his team's FA Cup victory over the Tractor Boys on February 13.
Between those games, the midfielder was on the bench for the 2-2 at Bristol City, but came on after 71 minutes to provide an assist for fellow substitute Kieffer Moore.
Windass looks certain to start again on Tuesday and could grab a 10th Championship goal of the campaign.
