Football Bet of the Day: Yellows to down Blues?

We’ve got so much football action to choose from for our Football Bet of the Day on Saturday that it is coming out of our ears.
As usual, my attention is drawn to the EFL Championship, where I think there is good value to be had in East Anglia.
Football Bet of the Day - Saturday, February 21
- Norwich to win and BTTS @ 10/3

Wow, wow, wow - who saw this coming for Norwich City? When Philippe Clement replaced Liam Manning in November 2025, his first task was to get the Canaries out of the relegation zone and away from danger.
Manning even said, “If you sack me, nothing will change,” towards the end of his tenure - but how wrong he was. The former Rangers man has come in and now has a record of 11 wins, three draws and five defeats in 19 matches - with an outstanding win percentage of 58%.
Josh Sargent threw a strop, and the experienced manager took it in his stride, instead giving opportunities to Jovon Makama and new arrival Mohamed Traore. The young players who looked out of their depth earlier in the campaign now look like top talents at this level, and the January arrivals have also helped them out, with Ali Ahmed and Traore both hitting the ground running.
Football Bet of the Day Stats
- Philippe Clement has won 11 of 19 in charge of Norwich
- Norwich have won seven of their last eight
- Birmingham only have four away wins
It’s hard to place what is going right at Norwich right now, but Clement is leading this team on a very late charge for the play-offs. They are on seven wins out of eight in all competitions, and their only defeat came away at title-chasing Middlesbrough, so there’s plenty to be enthused about if you are a Canary right now.
Saturday’s opponents are Birmingham City at Carrow Road, with the Blues improving slightly of late under Chris Davies, and sitting two points outside of the play-offs. The real issue has been their away form as they have only won four of 16 on the road - a run that has stopped them from being a top six team this term.
They’ve beaten the bottom two on the road recently, in Sheffield Wednesday and Oxford United, but I’m not convinced that’s enough proof that they have turned their away struggles around. This is the big test for Birmingham. Win and they are one of the play-off favourites, lose and it might just be curtains for their promotion hopes.
I can see it ending in defeat against one of the best teams in the league right now. However, I will back both teams to score to boost our odds and give us this fantastic price of 10/3.
