Western Force vs Brumbies Odds

Western Force are the slight underdogs at 1/1 to claim the win on Saturday morning, while the Brumbies are 5/6 favourites to make the long trip back to the capital with the spoils. A draw at HBF Park is currently available at 25/1.

Team News

Starting with the Western Force, Tom Robertson, Brandon Paenga-Amosa and Harry Johnson-Holmes start in the front row, with captain Jeremy Williams and Franco Molina in the engine room.

Vaiolini Ekuasi, Carlo Tizzano and Nick Champion de Crespigny complete the pack, while Nathan Hastie and Ben Donaldson start in the half-backs.

Hamish Stewart and George Bridge pair up in the centres, with Bayley Kuenzle, Divad Palu and Mac Grealy in the back three for the hosts.

As for the visitors, the Brumbies have James Slipper, Billy Pollard and Rhys van Nek in the front row, with Lachie Shaw and Cadeyrn Neville in the second row.

Rob Valetini, Rory Scott and Charlie Cale form the back row, with skipper Ryan Lonergan and Declan Meredith in the half-backs.

David Feliuai and Kadin Pritchard combine in the centres, while the Canberra outfit have a back three of Corey Toole, Ollie Sapsford and Andy Muirhead.

Brumbies -4 handicap @ 5/4

When it comes to clashes between these two sides at HBF Park, it’s unquestionably the Brumbies who have had the better time of things in recent years.

The Brumbies have managed to win seven of their last eight matches in Super Rugby at the home of the Force and the men from Canberra are good value in the handicap market for Saturday’s showdown in Perth.

Wallabies star Valetini will lead from the front with his work at the breakdown and his carrying ability in the back row.

With the likes of Toole, Sapsford and Muirhead in the back three, the Brumbies have the ability to hurt teams in the wide channels and the visitors should get their 2026 campaign off to a winning start.

Double Result - Brumbies-Brumbies @ 6/4

The Brumbies have won their last three-regular season matches away from GIO Stadium by an average margin of 18.7 points-per-game and to do that, a team normally requires strong starts to matches.

Expect the Brumbies to come flying out of the traps and put the Force under pressure from the off, which could lead to the visitors holding an advantage at both half-time and full-time.
