Irish Lotto Big Winner: Destination Disneyland for £55k winner

A customer who won over £55,000 on the Irish lottery at Betfred is heading to Disneyland.

The winner from Hampshire landed a total of £55,200 from a combination of a correctly predicted treble and four-fold.

Numbers five, 19 and 21 saw the punter land a welcome £4,200 but the addition of number nine on a correctly placed four-fold meant a huge £51k windfall.

Each number had a story with the winner saying, “Number four is my lucky number and my wife’s is number five, while 19 is the date that we met and 21 is my birthday."

Asked about how he celebrated, he added "I was already enjoying myself on Saturday with a few drinks and it was only right that we had a few more in celebration.

"We are going to take our little boy to Disneyland and pay off some of the mortgage."
