Premier league predictions

It was an overall disappointing effort from us tipsters in last week's Premier League predictions. We had just one correct score between us and so there is a lot to be improved upon in Gameweek 24.

Check out our latest scoreline picks below.

Brighton vs Everton - 1-1 @ 6/1

Brighton & Hove Albion host Everton at the Amex Stadium, and both teams have been prone to draws recently. The hosts have experienced three stalemates in their past five appearances, while it's two in three for the Toffees heading into Saturday.

Both of Everton's recent two home games in the top flight have ended 1-1, and I think this is the standout scoreline for this contest.

Nick: 2-1

Simon: 2-1

Leeds vs Arsenal - 2-2 @ 16/1

Leeds United have taken four points from their last two fixtures, and they will look to capitalise at home against an Arsenal side that are winless in three league matches. The Gunners were outclassed against Manchester United last weekend as they lost their first home game of the season.

Leeds are unbeaten in their last five home appearances in the Premier League, and I think they are good value to take a point here.

Nick: 0-2

Simon: 0-2

Premier League Odds

Wolves vs Bournemouth - 1-1 @ 6/1

Wolves have lost just one of their previous five matches in the league as they welcome AFC Bournemouth to Molineux. The Old Gold have been showing improvement in recent weeks, so this will be a tough trip for the Cherries, who have won just once on the road this term.

The visitors have a lot of quality in attack, but Wolves have been battling hard for draws of late, and I think another stalemate could be on the cards.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 2-2

Chelsea vs West Ham - 2-1 @ 7/1

Chelsea have won their last two league fixtures as they host West Ham United at Stamford Bridge. The Irons are also on a two-game winning streak in the top flight, so this could be an interesting contest.

The Hammers are showing fight as they look to avoid relegation to the Championship, but with the squad depth Chelsea have, I predict a narrow victory for the Blues.

Nick: 3-1

Liverpool vs Newcastle - 2-2 @ 11/1

Liverpool suffered a defeat at Bournemouth last weekend, extending their winless streak in the Premier League to five matches. The four games before that were all draws, and I think this outcome appeals as they entertain Newcastle United at Anfield.

The Magpies experienced a rare home defeat against Aston Villa last week, but they then went to Paris and drew with PSG in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday.

I think their trip to Merseyside could deliver a high-scoring stalemate.

Nick: 2-2

Simon: 3-1

Villa vs Brentford - 2-1 @ 7/1

Villa were able to shake off a two-game winless streak in the top flight with an impressive victory on Tyneside. They welcome Brentford to Villa Park on Sunday, and the Bees may be reeling from losing to strugglers Nottingham Forest on home soil.

After a disappointing defeat in Birmingham to Everton a couple of weeks ago, I am backing Unai Emery's men to deliver on this occasion.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 2-0

Man United vs Fulham - 3-2 @ 20/1

Michael Carrick's reign as Man United boss has started perfectly as he has taken down the two title favourites, Manchester City and Arsenal. The Red Devils should be confident of beating Fulham, who make the trip to Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Cottagers secured a late victory over Brighton at Craven Cottage last time out, so their tails will be up. I think there could be plenty of goals here, but I fancy the in-form hosts to come out on top.

Nick: 2-2

Simon: 3-0

Forest vs Palace - 2-1 @ 15/2

Forest picked up a valuable three points in their bid for survival last week at Brentford, and they will look to follow that up when they host struggling Crystal Palace at the City Ground.

The Eagles are in freefall as they have lost six of their last eight outings in the top flight, which has coincided with boss Oliver Glasner announcing he is leaving in the summer and key defender Marc Guehi departing for Man City.

I think this is an opportunity Forest cannot afford to miss.

Football Odds

Spurs vs Man City - 1-3 @ 11/1

Tottenham Hotspur are winless in their past five Premier League games as they welcome Man City on Sunday. The hosts have also lost two of their previous three home matches in the top flight, which I think will bode well for City.

After losing to rivals Man United, City responded with a professional victory at home to Wolves last week, before beating Galatasaray (also at home) in the Champions League on Wednesday.

With Arsenal faltering, the Citizens need to take full advantage, and I think they will do just that.

Nick: 2-1

Simon: 1-2

Sunderland vs Burnley - 1-1 @ 6/1

Sunderland remain the only team yet to lose a home game in the Premier League this season, and the Black Cats will look to keep that record intact when they welcome Burnley to the Stadium of Light.

The Clarets have recorded three consecutive draws heading into Monday, while two of Sunderland's past three home matches have ended in stalemates.
